Do you agree that Rob isn’t romantic, or do you think he’s just being modest?
Here’s some Robert Pattinson news that might come as a surprise to girlfriend Kristen Stewart! Though he did say “I like being in love” during a recent interview with Germany’s TZ Newspaper, he also admitted that events of his past made him realize, “I’m not a romantic person.” So what could have possibly happened to Rob that would leave his heart scarred like that?
“When I was 14, I put a flower on the chair of a classmate,” he reveals. “She thought it was from someone else. … I decided that that was the end of me with being romantic.”
Whoever that girl was, we bet she’s kicking herself now for ignoring R-Patz’s affections.
But as for Rob not being romantic, keep this in mind: He plays guitar, he travels halfway around the world to see his girlfriend, and he has a heart-stopping British accent. Whether he does it intentionally or not, we think he’s absolutely a romantic person.
Just take last year’s birthday outing, for example. He and K-Stew spent a romantic day (and night) at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Laguna Beach, Calif.

Aimee – Ahhh a Hotel Zaza Wedding Love. I know a few girls who’ve wrkeod with Kristen Daniell and can totally say that she has rave reviews.

Yeah, Rob P’s lack of chivalry is obvious when we saw how Garrett and Sam protected Kristen from the paps on the OTR set. They shielded her instead of rushing ahead to the car on their long legs. I bet that Sam Clafin and Chris Hemsworth would do the same. Not shipping Kristen with any of them, although they’re all insanely HOT. Just pointing out that there are hot guys out there who are also gentlemen, but it’s Kristen’s choice who she wants to be with.

dont want them to break up just think of kristen instead of yourself man come on you dont have to be romantic to be a gentleman you was raised right holding the car door and letting kristen in first will not give anything away you both want to get out of paps way but ladies first

@Angela. I fail to see your point. No other female bears the brunt of the wrath of Rob’s “fans” as much as Kristen. Certainly not his agent Stephanie, whom you say he behaves gentlemanly towards, or his latest co-star,Reese W., whom he is full of praises for. The only critism I’ve heard is that Reese was too old to play 21year old Marlena, and that’s fair, constructive critism. Kristen gets death threats and sabotages to her beloved projects. A decent boyfriend would defend her. Is it any surprise that some of us are annoyed that he doesn’t even bother to let her in the car first as they’re evading the paps? What cryptic message do you think RP is trying to send us?? I’m not a “hater” but his actions or lack of them, send a clear message of an immature man incapable or unwilling to treat a gem of a girl the way she deserves.

hollywood life could you tell rob we dont like how he treats kristen she should be treated better contact his people and tell them he dose not have to sit on a talk show and tell us everything but treat kristen better think of her and not yourself let her in the dam car first for once

Bonnie, I love Rob, and I’m not going to comment on this . . . silly article, just the accent thing. I mean, really? Not that I don’t love a British accent, but it’s not like he had to work at that one or anything. Jack the Ripper had one too I would imagine – though cocky version. Just saying . . . gotta get back to real life now (probably for the best.)

Michele, I’m sure you mean ‘cockney’ accent as Jack the Ripper was from East London, although I’m sure he was very cocky too!
Rob has a very “well spoken” English accent, although Ive noticed in interviews recently he speaks with an American accent, even when on British TV, this doesnt sound as nice as his “real” accent.

Hey Claire, I do agree with you. I think that too many delusional people confuse him with Edward Cullen and convince themselves he MUST be romantic to be that character. I also agree that his actions are anything but romantic, they’re not even gentlemanly. Would a gentleman not open the door for his girlfriend and let her in first considering her fear of papparazis? It really irks me to see that beautiful, petite girl treated callously.

He used to do all sorts of gentlemanly things, such as opening doors and she would hold the crook of his elbow when they were walking around airports (sometimes). Look at it this way, every time there have been pics showing Rob doing something like this, the fandom (robstens & nonstens) go nuts over it. I’ve been watching for a long time now and have watched it all fall apart. Rob can’t hang out with anyone but KS or he gets threats (the latest was to “cut his dick off”). Rob still does gentlemanly things with his agent, Stephanie. So, why not Kristen? Why doesn’t he act gentlemanly towards her anymore? Because he used to.
Claire asks if Rob is trying to tell us all something….I think so, I really do.

I don’t think Rob treats Kristen callously at all. But, he can’t touch her in any way without the rumor mill starting up. Maybe he is trying to tell us all something with his actions or inactions?
