Pink is pissed! The singer took to Twitter to speak out against two horses being painted for what appears to be a Selena Gomez music video!
“If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video,” Pink tweeted yesterday, “Shame.”
Could the ‘stupid music video’ be referring to Selena Gomez and her crew filming on the beach yesterday with two lavender-colored horses?!
What will PETA-supporter boy-toy Justin Bieber think of this?! Not much, if Selena’s people played by the rules. According to E! Online, the American Humane Society’s guidelines okay the painting of animals, as long as nontoxic paint is used and the animal is checked for allergic reactions before production.
Apparently that’s not enough for animal-rights supporter Pink who went on to tweet, “Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.”
The “Raise Your Glass” singer is a vegetarian and even named her child after a vegan whiskey!
Apparently Pink didn’t even know it was Selena’s music video when she first tweeted about it, but learned quickly once Selena’s Twitter fans started defending the Disney starlet. Pink’s response? “oh lord, THAT’S whose video it was? Disney fans unite. here we go.”
The feud has sparked a Twitter war between fans of the two singers, but Pink’s not backing down. “whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty.,” Pink tweeted today,”i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.” You tell ‘em, sister!
We love Selena and doubt the Wizards of Waverly Place cutie would agree to anything that might endanger animals! What do YOU think about Selena using painted horses for a music video?! Sound off below!

I’m with Pink on this one.You can’t just believe that the paint was nontoxic like PETA said they might have painful allergic reactions to it ,so you can’t be so gullible and believe that Selena Gomez was telling the truth (just saying ) at least we know that Pink wasn’t lying I support her all the way with her being against animal abuse ,I am also a fan of Selena Gomez but I don’t thing she should have done that.So go PINK !!!!!!!!

How is painting horses abuse? at a barn, we have painting horse competitions. as long as its not toxic paint, there is NO problem. Paint just washes away. It CANNOT harm the horses as long its nontoxic. I HIGHLY doubt she will do anything to harm an animal. Its not like she starved them or beat them or anything. <– that IS animal abuse. Painting isnt.

Selena Gomez has used a non-toxic, harmless products for horses and has followed the American Humane Society’s procedure. Spread the words she is young but still she is doing better than old people so pink shut up

PETA spokesman Dan Mathews told E! Online, “There are no safe ways to paint a live horse or any animal. They can have painful allergic reactions to chemicals and there’s no way to know how an individual animal will react. Also, subjecting skittish animals like horses to extended periods of restraint and spraying is stressful and frightening.”
….Selena needs to APOLOGIZE, ELIMINATE THE PAINTED HORSES IMAGES FROM HER VIDEO, AND STOP HIDING BEHIND HER MANAGEMENT AND PR TEAM!

REGARDLESS of what her PR posse says about the paint being “airbrushed” on, I see the pink paint on the face and eyes of the horse, which means that this horse had to be subjected to colorful powdered paint being SPRAYED around, and possibly INTO, it’s eyes to be presented in this DUMB video to prop up Selena’s ridiculously weak singing career! As pink said, SHAME!
…Additionally, it really sets a bad example to be painting horses a color that the animal doesn’t appear as in nature. Very unnatural, and this may give OTHERS ….and kids, the incentive to paint THEIR animals, and they may not have the forsight to used ‘vegetable based’ paint! HOW IRRESPONSIBLE CAN YOU BE, SELENA!! There is no reason whatsoever to call Selena disgusting. Who do you think you are? What if she read that? That would probably hurt her feelings, just like I’m certain that YOUR feelings would be hurt if you read a mean comment online about you. Selena is trying her hardest, and while I respect P!nk, I think she really should have minded her own business. And besides, if the horses were being hurt, Selena would have done something to stop it. She is a very nice young lady and does NOT deserved to be talked about like that. And by the way, P!nk isn’t exactly the best role model either, since one of her song has profanity in it, another one suggests drinking, and she has tattoos all over her body. But if you want to blast a young star, then you should be talking about Miley Cyrus, because she is simply trashy and really does need to stop dancing on poles and wearing clothing fit for a stripper. I agree entirely. Whoever you are, “Ella,” we must have the same exact opinion. P!nk should lay off of Selena, obviously the horses are not hurt and have been approved by whoever is looking over the video, so she should just mind her own freaking business. Who asked you, P!nk?! Lay off of Selena!

I’m against animal cruelty! But Selena is doing is not animal cruelty, so I think Pink has nothing to do with it, why should she interfere? Also, paint can always be washed away.

How is it animal cruelty when the paint isnt harming the horses ITS NONTOXIC. pink should go against the producers of the video and stop being so pist off all the time when hollywood shoots a music video or a movie they call the amarican humane society to check the animals. and pink should know that there more important things in the world than two stupid horses there’s hunger,poverty,aids,cancer and terrorism those are important issues.

dude i know is important to fight for what you believe in i know that but pink should know that in every movie/video film sets they check with the humane society and they check if animals are harmed pink and some peta people went crazy like is the end of the world and the make up they use was safe as a peta member she should know this things.
