A-Listers like Elton John and Guy Ritchie received no special treatment at the Royal Wedding — they had wait to be seated with everyone else!
According to the new Vanity Fair, celebrity guests of Prince William and Kate Middleton — including John and husband David Furnish, Posh Spice, David Beckham, and Ritchie — waited to find seats in their designated locations at Westminster Abbey, and weren’t even given the best spots in the house!
William and Kate saved the prime seating for their family and close friends and wanted a “wedding for the people.”
It’s refreshing to hear that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are so down to earth!
