Sarah Ferguson says Princess Diana was always hoping to have a daughter in her life — and Kate Middleton would have been the perfect fit!
Fergie was on the June 9 episode of Piers Morgan Tonight, and said were Diana alive, she would be thrilled to have Kate, 29, in the family.
“[She would have felt] total pride,” she said. “[The wedding] was an amazing day. I think [Diana and Kate] would have been the best of friends. She always wanted to have a little girl.”
