‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke is ready to put the iconic furniture up for auction — would you invest?
Twilight director Catherine Harwicke was recognized at the June 10 Step Up Women’s Network Inspiration Awards, and she announced an incredible opportunity for fans to own a VERY intimate part of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart‘s life!
Catherine said she still has the bed Rob and K-Stew first kissed on when they were rehearsing scenes at her house for the iconic first film in the series. And Catherine said she might put the bed up for auction to help Step Up Women’s Network if there was enough demand from fans — and we’re sure it would generate plenty of interest amongst the Twihards!
Also, the charity is a great cause, offering children in high-crime areas the chance to graduate high school and go off to college!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers — would you buy the bed, or is that a little too weird?

And I’d love to see the replica of all the lead characters in that museum especially Edward and Bella in the meadow, the prom scene and their wedding scene! That bed belongs to Summit Twilight Saga Museum!

Im Robsten fan, but NO i’m not gonna buy that bed. It’s better that Summit buy and preserve the bed together with other Twilight Saga memorabilias like Bella’s truck, motorcycle, prom dress, leg cast, Cullen’s baseball caps and tees, Volturi’s clothes… Put it in Summit’s Twilight museum so that Rob and Kristen together with other Twilight casts can celebrate fans day during and even after Breaking Dawn’s premiere!

Ew, does that mean she hasn’t washed the sheets? I mean, honestly. The only thing making it special is if it were the sheets, which would also be kinda gross if they’ve gone unwashed for two years or so, because otherwise it’s just a bed frame. A BED FRAME. You can go down to IKEA and get one, probably a better quality one too.

I would rather put money into an auction to win to spend a day with them in person.
Not buy a bed they did an audition on that no of us by the way actually saw. (How do we know it’s “The Bed?”) Plus a woman has been sleeping in for the last few years.
What next? Buy the toilet Rob peed in?

I love Twilight, and adore both Rob and Kristen.
But Catherine treats that bed as a shrine.
