The Super Bowl of Broadway wasn’t all about the stage! These fashionable stars stepped out in gorgeous gowns.
Last night’s Tony Awards were full of glitz and glamour. An incredibly diverse group of celebrities (including Daniel Radcliffe, Kelsey Grammer and Chris Rock, to name a few) walked the red carpet — but two of the most memorable guests were Christie Brinkley and Catherine Zeta-Jones! Both women opted for bold colored, embellished frocks, but who looked better?
The age-defying Christie, 57, looks about old enough to attend the prom — and her ensemble resembles what she probably did wear. The strapless, beaded Zuhair Murad gown was gorgeous, but combined with the cleavage, updo, and Chopard diamond covered neck, it was a little much. Catherine, 41, looked ravishing and age-appropriate in plunging Elie Saab, which she accessorized with simple jewels from Van Cleef & Arpels and a tight bun. Not only does Catherine win this battle for me, she was the best dressed of the night. The Tonys are all about old-school glamour and elegance, and Catherine really delivered.

CZJ wore that dress in the movie America’s Sweethearts. I wouldn’t have noticed, but I just watched it a couple of days ago. That movie’s at least 10 years old! She looks exactly the same now as she did then.

The tonys are about theatrics and fun, not old school elegance leave that to the old school. Broadway is a changing and even as much as i loveeeee catherine I love christies pop of color and youth.
Its not “who wore it better” two great women who care about themselves and the enviornment and two great looks,… enjoy it all
I vote for brinkley for the pure color and fun and fit of it all
