Selena Gomez showed her fans some love by answering their questions about ‘Monte Carlo,’ her co-stars, and breaking into the biz after her Santa Monica Place performance June 13!

Selena Gomez had originally canceled her Santa Monica Place performance last Friday after being hospitalized , but the singer made it up to her fans by showing up Monday and chatting with them. We’re happy to see her doing well and are sure her fans are too!

When we asked what it was like working with Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy , Selena said, “It was so awesome. I was a little scared that they were older than me, and Leighton being on such a successful show, but they were really nice. They took me under there wing and treated me like there little sister. We hung out all the time. We spent every second together when we were shooting.”

The film was mostly shot in Budapest, so what food did Ms. Gomez miss most while abroad?

“I missed In & Out a lot,” she said. “I really missed fast food. But that’s probably a good thing.”

A girl after our own heart!

The free concert — which kicked off a 10-city mall tour to promote her new film Monte Carlo — was postponed when the 18-year-starlet was taken to the hospital for malnutrition and exhaustion after appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno June 9.

And while many celebs would have no qualms about canceling a free concert, Selena made sure to make it up to her fans! Not only did the singer make a speedy recovery to reschedule the two-song performance for Monday, she also took some time to answer fans’ questions after the show.

Monte Carlo hits theaters July 1.
