When Justin Bieber turned up on the red carpet in Toronto for the 2011 MuchMusic Awards on Jun. 19 he was accompanied by an iconic brunette, and it wasn’t his girlfriend! The pint-sized popstar payed homage to the 90′s TV babe of all time, Saved By The Bell‘s Kelly Kapowski. Played by Tiffani Amber Thiessen, the Bayside cheerleader was known for her ’90s style and her adorable smile.
Unfortunately baby Bieber was born in 1994, a year after the show went off the air (it ran from 1989-1993) — I wonder if he watches the re-runs or if he became a fan of the College Years? Either way, I’m happy he wore the $24 Urban Outfitters tee on the red carpet, and I can’t wait to order it.
Kelly Kapowski is one of my favorite ’90s characters, (I even dressed up like her for Halloween a few years ago), and I was shocked to see that Biebs and I share the same obsession. Bieber’s cool factor definitely went up a bit in my book after seeing his shirt — but what did you think of his fashion statement?

actually they are just friends now I am seeing. Last night if you did not notice this is where they met before as well in public. From everything now they are just friends.
