An insider tells HollywoodLife.com Anne Hathaway’s costume in the upcoming ‘Catwoman’ sequel is unlike any outfits from the previous movies! Do YOU think you’ll like it better?
Although we won’t be seeing Anne Hathaway in the iconic role of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises for more than a year, an insider tells HollywoodLife.com new details about her much anticipated costume — and it’s not going to be like anything we’ve seen in the previous movies!
“Anne’s outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies,” a source very close to the costume design tells us exclusively. “She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it’s going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman costumes. She’s going to look more like a robber.”
Adds the insider, “But fan boys shouldn’t be worried. This costume is going to be form-fitting enough to make Anne look smoking hot.”
We cannot wait to see Anne — who says she’s been working out non-stop to get in shape for the role — as Catwoman. As we previously reported, a source on set told us the 28-year-old actress is dominating in the role and will blow audiences out of the water.
“Everything from the looks in her eyes, her head movements, her body–everything is so feline. The role is taking her to new places,” the insider said.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20, 2012. Will YOU go see it?

My vote would have went to angelina jolie to play catwomen not some preppy girl. Ann is cute but not sexy which is what every catwomen should be SEXY. Michelle Phiffer will always be the best catwomen by far,

my guess is it’ll reflect Batman’s costume
– it’ll be a subverted version of Batman
- a statement on female emancipation being victims of crime & violence
- so in that sense, it’ll hold many surprises for Batman

I just looked at Ms. Hathaway’s picture again and it reminded me of Meridth’s (sp?) Catwoman look from the old Batman series. Does anyone else see that? If so, please ask the producers change the costume and make it more catlike.

Halle Berry was sexy without having to act sexy. Sorry Ms. Hathaway you will never replace her. The costume that Halle Berry wore was so much more catlike than what they show for Ms. Hathaway. I agree she’s cute, but just doesn’t make it as Catwoman. Sorry!!!

Just to set the record straight, that is not the “original” Catwoman outfit. It’s what she’s wearing these days in the comics.

Um… I’m pretty sure this photo has been around for a couple years, and someone saw it and went “Oh man, she’s in leather. This has to be the Catwoman suit!”

After reading that she is totally getting into the role & rocking the character as portrayed in the comics…makes me wonder if we may have another “Heath Ledger/Joker” scenario. Remember how everyone doubted Heath could possibly play the Joker? Look how that turned out.
