At a meeting to discuss their ongoing issues, Karen lunges at Drita, but fortunately Renee holds her back. Still, it’s enough to send Drita into a rage!
Karen Gravano tried to make peace with Drita D’avanzo by offering her the first chapter of her book during the June 19 episode of Mob Wives — but Drita interprets Karen’s action as a direct attack at her husband Lee D’avanzo and her family. During the season finale, Drita calls the girls for a sit-down to hash out the problems at hand, but the night quickly turns into a bloody battle between Karen and Drita.
In the start of the episode, Karen grabs a bite to eat with Renee Graziano to talk her about her issues with Drita, who hasn’t answered any of Karen’s calls since she gave her chapter one. Renee advises Karen that it’s time for Karen to confront Drita and work this situation out.
While the drama between Drita and Karen is escalating, poor Drita faces some extremely difficult personal choices. She learns that Lee cheated on her between jail sentences. Because of this, Drita approaches a divorce attorney to go over her options. She leaves the office so heartbroken and confused.
At this point, Drita decides she needs to get the other Mob Wives together to hash out the issues that have been dividing the group.
All the women, including Drita’s bestie Carla Facciolo, accept and they group meets at a rooftop bar. Drita’s the last one to enter — and it’s clear that she’s not happy and has a tone on her mind.
She greets everyone, but then cuts directly to the point with Karen. Drita tells Karen she doesn’t appreciate how Karen makes it sound when she talks about Lee. Karen quickly returns that she thought this discussion was over and asks why Drita keeps retouching upon it. The discussion quickly turns into a heated fight — and all of a sudden Karen jumps at Drita, but Renee holds her back.
Drita quickly “blacks out” as she puts and a split second later is on top of Karen throwing punches and tearing.
The guards have to tear Drita off — and drag her away as both women are still screaming. Poor Renee, who was under the whole tumble, comes out with a bloody leg.
