Kim Kardashian Spends 4th of July Weekend In Minnesota With Kris Humphries & Her In-Laws!

So how did Kim Kardashian adjust to her in-laws and to rustic Minnesota? Did she have a blast? Well, it seems Kim had the time of her life, spending the weekend jet-skiing and sailing in a small boat on Lake Minnetonka, located about 20 miles west of Minneapolis, all moments which Kris captured on camera and posted on Twitter. "Look at Kim Kardashian tearing up the lake!'" he tweeted alongside a photo of her jet-skiing.

And Kim was just as enthused about her lake getaway. “Kind of obsessed with Lake Minnetonka! Boats & O’s!!!” she tweeted, after Kris posted a photo of his sweetheart—whom he dubbed “Kaptain K.”—hamming it up on a boat. Kim, who enjoyed girl time with her pal and make-up artist Joyce Bonelli and Kris’ sister Kaela, added of the party-like atmosphere, “It’s like Vegas on the lake over here!”

But native Angelino Kim wasn’t initially psyched for the getaway it seems. “How do I convince @KimKardashian that minnesota is better than L.A.?’ he tweeted on Friday.

During the trip, Kim also got in touch with her athletic side, kicking off her trip Friday night with a baseball game. She tweeted Friday, “Hi Minnesoooota! Heading to the twins game tonight! This should be fun!” And Kim, 30, made sure to take advantage of the downtime, tweeting Saturday, “Best feeling in the world to sleep in! I haven’t done this in forever!”
