It is now being said that her older brothers, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz played a huge role in choosing her unique moniker.
First, Romeo Beckham, 8, asked his parents to name his sister after Justin Bieber, his favorite singer, but now the rumor is that the little guy and his two brothers Brooklyn, 12, and Cruz, 6, tried to convince David and Victoria to name the Beckham baby girl after their favorite TV show. Except this time, it worked!
Harper is the name of Jennifer Stone‘s character from the popular Disney series Wizards Of Waverly Place and the Beckhams named their daughter, who was born on July 10 in LA, Harper Seven!
“The entire family had input –- Victoria and David love the name, but it was the boys who actually came up with it,” a source tells the Daily Mail. “Victoria loved it because it’s an Olde English name and even though Harper is an American by birth, she will always have English roots.”
Ironically, David was a huge fan of Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez‘s hit show too and he used to read books based on the Wizards Of Waverly Place series to the three boys when they were younger.
Harper’s middle name ‘Seven‘ is attributed to being David’s lucky number, which he sported on his Manchester United and England jerseys.
“Victoria and David only came up with the name at the last minute,” the source adds. “It’s a very lucky number for David and he has always wanted to name one of his children Seven.”

what a horrble name ! poor baby girl she was just born and gets ridiculed by her family right away :(
on the positive side , all the kids in hollywood have such messed up names that noone will be able to bully the other in school !
sorry if it sounds mean but THEY ARE the mean ones for not thinking about their kids 1

i think it real cute!!! it different but not stupied where when your kid like 10 they wont get beat up for a a stupid name, and why not name your kid after an awsome tv show i named mine after a show i grew up with lol although his daddy picked it cuz he like it lol

Actually no, it was confirmed by the Beckham’s that they named it after the show’s co-character. But, I bet Victoria loved it also because of Harper Bazzar Mag!

Love the name Harper! Always have since I watch the show with my kids. Seven, well it’s odd. But that’s the best of it though! Very original name. Congrats Victoria & David!
