Watch out Upper East Siders! A new female character is coming and is sure to shake things up in the Big Apple. Elizabeth Hurley is signed on for the upcoming season of Gossip Girl and, by the looks of it, may be getting cozy with Chace Crawford‘s newly single character Nate Archibald! Spoiler alert!
It’s true! Elizabeth may be new to Gossip Girl, but she’s wasting no time finding herself a much younger hottie. She and Chace were spotted on the verge of locking lips for the cameras.
As TVLine first reported, Elizabeth, 46, will play Diana Payne, “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with,” according to exec producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran, “Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters — including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself.”
Sure, she may not look 46, but we can’t wait to see British beauty Elizabeth take on the cougar role and get hot and heavy with Nate Archibald! And based on these pictures from the set, that’s just what she plans to do!
But when has a new character not gotten tangled in a Gossip Girl love triangle? Or should we say octagon? Sure, the show’s cast includes some of the hottest names in Hollywood like Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, but we think Ms. Hurley can hold her own in this crowd!
