Kate Gosselin claims people change their opinion of her ’100% of the time’ after they’ve met! Do you think YOU would?
You’d think Kate Gosselin is too busy raising eight children to pay attention to the tabloids, right? Wrong! The Kate Plus 8 star knows just what critics say about her, but, frankly, she couldn’t care less! Still, that didn’t keep Kate from shooting down rumors of her money obsession and less-than-friendly attitude when she sat down with Rob Shuter of HuffingtonPost.com.
“The biggest misconception is that I’m a money-hungry b*tch,” says Kate, “My friends come and tell me. They can’t take it.”
Let’s hope that language isn’t being used around her little ones!
“I tell them just ignore it, don’t read it,” Kate continues, “You know it’s not true. I am very driven, very type-A, very hard-working, very perfectionist. Every single person with that personality is accused of being self-absorbed, snobby and horrible. A bad impression is given because you are so driven. My mind is on the finish line. It’s an attractive quality as far as men are concerned. Now women trying to act like that … men get put off by that and offended.”
Is that what caused the split with ex Jon Gosselin that turned Jon & Kate Plus 8 into the current show, Kate Plus 8?
Never one to back down on any issue, Kate challenges critics to come meet her and then see what they think.
“I really have to tell you I enjoy the challenge of meeting people personally and changing their opinion of me,” Kate says, “Because it happens 100 percent of the time.”
And for those of you who don’t have the chance to meet Ms. Gosselin and want to keep the negative comments coming, at least you know she won’t mind!

Having 8 kids to care for and a chance to make some money for their bank accounts to (as per court order) and go places that you might not be able to take your kids to———-you’ll jump at the chance if tlc knocked at your door. So she takes care of hersel—-jealous!

I’ll be glad when you are a nobody again and never on television. Get a REAL job. Raising your kids a job, for the numerous nannies you have had it was and is, also your chef, gardner, housekeepers, people to do your laundry. And then you whine and cry you need money? You make me sick.

there is NOTHING on earth (or elsewhere) that katie could do to clean up her image enough that if someone met her it would change their opinion of her gained by watching her in action as she is/was being filmed. As she said, what she is is what we saw, the realest of reality.

Maybe because Kate won’t get the hint and go away, Kate continues to put herself out there with stupid and grammatically incorrect comments, Kate is relentless about keeping herself and kids on TV, despite the emotional toll, Kate is a known liar and contradicts every comments she makes (just like this article). Go away Kate. When you start getting desperate you look even more pathetic and the public can see right through your greedy heart.

Kate was mean spirited and self-centered before TLC. TLC made a mega monster and a liar. And yes, Kate Gosselin does care about the negative comments that are said about her because ultimately it will impact her bottomline, exploiting her kids! And remember, her ratings are hitting all time lows. With no talent, where do you go from here?

And oh by the way, the recent filming at Mt. Rushmore showed some of the other tourists that you were, once again, screaming and ordering your children around. Kate – you can continue to use the excuse that you are a Type A personality and driven, but usually those people who can get away with it also can demonstrate some kind of true, raw, gifted talent, which makes people see past the rudeness. Your talent, as you call it of “having the gift of the gab” won’t keep you relevant. Just makes you annoying to watch. Any time anyone feels the need to tell people how nice they are (and then say “all my friends and family can’t take it”), then that person is desperate. Kate, you’re a loud mouth, annoying b*tch. kate really needs help. She tweets that she ignores the so called “haters” and now she wants to meet them and change their perception of her. Excuse me, from what I have seen and read a ton of people have met, worked for, or even married Kate Gosselin, and EVERYONE has called her a B..CH (UNLESS THEY ARE PEOPLE ON HER PAYROLL)! And it is a funny situation when the people that have called her a B..CH are the very people that have known her the best and most intimately! What a stupid article.

You know, just another lie of Kate Gosselin to orchestrate controversy by giving an interview that will keep her name out there. It is just about time for another airing of her show, AGAIN! Please, 100% of the people meet her and like her, LOL, so far from the truth. Kate alienated many, many family members and friends and has not reconnected with them. From high school to adulthood, Kate is not known to be nice, just selfish, greedy, and self-serving.
Now if you told me Kate Gosselin was NOT truthful 100% of the time and had no credibility, honesty, or integrity, I believe most people would believe that.

I have been at the nail salon a few times when Kate was there & the first time, she was on the phone with someone really reaming them out….she was very loud & annoying. I met her again at the nail salon 2 wks. ago & she couldn’t have been nicer. She was there with her girls, Madie was her usual “woe is me’ self but the little girls were adorable. Anyway, Kate actually carried on a conversation with me for about 10 min. until Jon and Ellen came to pick up the kids for the week-end. I still think Kate thinks she is miss “high & mighty” but somehow I believe she is seeing the light & that her ratings are going down & she needs to get a grip & come down from that little cloud of hers.

The reason she was being nice to you that day was because TLC put her in check. She knows her ratings are affected because of her behavior and she is smart enough to know that she needs to put on the “act” now so that people can continue to watch her show. Don’t believe it for a second. She’s really not that way.

Problem is Kate wants to be a public entity based on nothing but her personality. If the focus of her perceived perfection, drive, and hard work was some seperate product, I could admire her determination, but it is not. What Kate promotes is Kate. If you have to tell people you are “really” a nice person, something is wrong with your presentation. And no I am *not* jealous. Nothing to be jealous of.
