Just when the fashion show seemed to be going off without a hitch, the giant photo of Alison on the screen went up in (digital) flames. “The bitch is back” came over the loudspeaker, while fun words like “bitch” and “monster” appeared over Alison’s hellish, burning face.
So who’s to blame for the Final Cut faux-pax? Aria (Lucy Hale) seemed like the obvious culprit, since she put the slideshow together herself, but my money’s on the no-good DJ, Noel (Brant Daugherty.) Seriously, why are the pretty ones always so damn evil?
But to be fair, the kids aren’t the only evil-doers on the show. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) kept a close watch over her dad during the entire episode, taking note of his super-suspicious behavior around Alison’s mom. She caught him yelling at her twice — both times involved him shouting about “taking care” of Jason (Drew Van Acker) — and both times, he made up a lie to ease Spencer’s troubled mind.
And speaking of troubled minds, Hanna (Ashley Benson) didn’t know what to think when her dad decided to stick around for a few extra days to spend time with her and her mom (Laura Leighton.) There was a time when she hoped they’d get back together, but now things have gotten a little more complicated.
Ezra (Ian Harding) was MIA this week, leaving Aria plenty of time to continue falling madly in love with Jason 2.0. And while she may not be ready to vocalize her feelings just yet, her flirty text messages and lingering stares say more than words ever could.
