Twilight never loses, ever, but the film, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson all came up short at the Teen Choice Awards when Harry Potter walked away with the most awards!
Harry Potter has finally received their awards show due! After years of being always overshadowed by Twilight, the film walked away with a staggering number of surfboards at the Teen Choice Awards — even winning Choice Liplock for Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe OVER Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson! What?!
Twilight is of course amazing but it is wonderful to see Harry Potter walk away with the awards it so rightfully deserves! Sadly, stars Daniel and Emma could not be there.

Are you SERIOUSLY fighting over HP & Twilight? is it sooooo hard to like both or at least RESPECT the work and the effort put in both franchises and RESPECT the fans?

You just don’t understand…
In a nutshell: Harry Potter is the better series in numerous aspects yet Twilight gets all of the attention (in America, at least). Harry Potter’s movies are considered “Oscar Worthy” (especially the last one) and Twilight gets all of the awards. Nobody cares about these “live-televised polls”, but it goes down in Hollywood’s record book. Twilight is going to be known as the movie series that won 9/10 awards it was ever nominated for. While the Harry Potter movies got better through time and has never gotten a RT rating below 76% and the final film got a RT rating of 97% and 100% with top critics, the Twlight movies can’t get above 52%. DanRad, Rupert Grint and EmWatson are brilliant actors (and have gotten better throughout the series(IMHO and critics agree) while RPattz, KSpew and TayLau get slammed by critics for their acting and they don’t seem to be getting better. When one of the HP actors wins an award, they’re actually greatful and humble about it and so thankful. When KSpew or RPattz win awards, they act awkward like they don’t even want to be there. How could anyone possibly respect them for that?
It seems like the Twilight Saga is doing literally half the work and getting twice as much praise (in America). How could anyone possibly respect them for that?
You know what the biggest problem with the Twilight Series is? TWITARDSS. They go around saying, “Twilight is better than Harry Potter!”, “Twilight replaced Harry Potter”, “We win all the awards so that means Twilight is better than Harry Potter”. Twilight fans are rediculously stupid, imature and ignorant.

HP: 8 movies of sheer awesomeness from 7 books of unbelievably skilled writing and epicness.
Twilight: 3 movies that good and the last (and WORST book ever) is being split into 2 for god knows what reasons seeing as it has no action and the ‘heroine’ is sitting around pregnant for most of it….
UGH.
Harry Potter for the win <— couldnt even shorten that. It had to be said in full.

The only time Twilight wins awards is when they are voted for by teenagers, Harry Potter wins legitimate rewards. The critics always give great reviews for Harry Potter, while Twilight gets trashed. Harry Potter earns huge amounts of money for each film, Twilight makes considerably less. Its obvious which is better. Even though both are enjoyable

HP kids have never beaten us twihards before i think it was rigged because this is there last year and they felt sorry for them i mean we have been wiping all the award shows and magically the last year of the last movie they take them all……it was rigged and then only two HP cast members were there it was just sad

to begin with HP7.1 was not the last hp movie there is also the 3rd highest grossing film of all time!!!
also when you say that the hp kids never beaten the twihards do you refer to the fact that the least successful hp movie grossd 90.000.000 dollars more than the most successfull twilight movie!!!

Harry Potter deserved their awards. As christina said, the least successful hp grossed 90 million more than the most succesful twilight. pretty crazy, right? And the reason only two people from harry potter (tom and rupert, the BEST <3 watch interviews of them and you'll fall in love unlike awkward rob and kristen) is because Dan is busy on broadway, and Emma is busy with other projects as well because they are hard-working kids! I'm really not even being biased because I love Harry Potter: Harry Potter is a more dimensional, more successful, more beloved film series. Truth be told, Harry Potter is better and I'm so happy for them. Period.

yeah it’s really sad when there’s a lot of people from twilight attending an award show that’s really not as important as the academy awards and its REALLY SAD that all those actors and actresses are there…and THEY LOST 7 TIMES! very sad…very sad….
and its EVEN MORE SAD that twilight had been nominated for so MUCH MORE razzie awards (worst movie/actor/actress/scenes) than hp ever was…VERY SAD INDEED!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is already the 3rd highest-grossing film (it only premiered China this August 4). The lowest-earning Potter film is Prisoner of Azkaban which is top 32 while the highest-earning Twilight film is New Moon and is at top 44. Just compare them and you’ll see which movie franchise people prefer!!!

thank god!!!!the only thkng twilight deserves is a big sh*t!!! And don’t play ”the part 1 and 2 card” because this fact help hp to get 3 nominees in the summer category(which it won)and know you will say that hp was not competing with eclipse in these categories…it’s a dull point because 1.it beat twilight in 3 out of 5(harry won 4 of them) categories in which the two franchises were competing and 2. Twilight was nominated in 12 or 13 categories and lost 9 of them (many of them to hp)

It’s hardly staggering hp been round for 10 years now whereas twilight only 3/4years. Also what was hp part one and two up hardly fair. Also most twilight fans also enjoy Harry potter so they are hardly going to be disappointed are they.
