Jonas Brothers fans may now take a collective sigh of relief: The boy-banders plan to reunite.

Even though the brothers are currently working on their own projects, Joe says he and his siblings will work together again and record music. Phew!

“Definitely, me and my bros, we are gonna make another project eventually,” Joe, who’s currently on Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour, tells MTV News correspondent Jocelyn Vena. “Right now, we’re just focused on the side projects and the individual stuff we’re doing.”

But don’t expect a reunion too soon. “In the next few years or a year or so, we’re going to make more music together,” Joe said. “I think it’s nice for all of us to be able to do this and for me to take this time and really go for it.”

Joe’s brother Nick is already thinking of the follow-up to their 2009 album Lines, Vines and Trying Times, telling MTV News, “With the next one, you have to step it up and make it great, and I think that we don’t necessarily know what the sound is right now. And we’re all kind of in different areas musically. I think that we don’t have the same influences.”
