Selena Gomez is so humble! Even though she’s one of the biggest celebrities in the world, she still thinks she has a lot to learn in the business. Do YOU think she’s found success?
At 19, Selena Gomez has had her own hit TV show, starred in feature films, released three studio albums and been the face of multiple fashion and beauty lines…not to mention, she’s dating the most wanted teen in the world, Justin Bieber. But when it comes to being a big “Hollywood star,” Selena has got her head screwed on her shoulders and has stayed completely down to earth.
“I don’t think I’ve found success just yet, or at least that’s how I personally feel,” the former Disney darling admitted to BOB! Magazine. “I’ve only done about three films, so I’m obviously not that familiar with it.”
Considering Selena made an estimated $5.5 million last year, we’re not so quick to call her “unsuccessful.” In fact, her income will most likely double this year, thanks to the success of her first tour and new album, We Own the Night.
Ultimately, money isn’t how Selena is defining success though — and we appreciate that. In fact, more than having a successful acting career, Selena is striving to be a good person.
“If I make my family and my fans proud, that’s all I need,” she said.

Humble? hahahahahahaha, funny. She is not one of the biggest celebrities in the world. I think her and Justin Beiber are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too overrated!!! Hey, quick question. Why don’t you ever right anything about people like Enrique Iglesias, Bruno Mars, Avril Lavigne? Oh right, that’s because they don’t get into controversies by showing off naked pictures of themselves or doing stupid things. Pleaseeeee write some good stories, all I ever see over here nowadays is Justin Beiber, Selena Gomez, Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and that’s about it.

Some of you here only are only half right. She does have a lot of talent in film and tv. She was moderately popular outside of Disney (she was very popular there) on the periphery of the mainstream, till she started dating Justin Bieber which is unfortunate for her. But at least she is a realist when she talks about her success, unlike some people.

To the 2 people who commented on here, she DOES have a load of talent, but every little thing is overshadowing her work, such as personal life, disney, and growing up.
I think she should MOS DEF start filming again, I want to see her grow and be noticed for her work even more. Selena is a very unique girl and she is one of the most known artists before the bieber even came into the business. She has the strength and the courage not to be letten down & those are major KUDOS. Her character and maturity makes her look even more wisable to a successful future. People shouldn’t be so mad just because she does what she wants and date who she wants. Judgemental pricks these days, I swear.
