Sounds like Kate’s reality TV show days are finally coming to an end — unless she auditions for ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’
TLC has finally decided to end their long-time relationship with Kate Gosselin and have announced that her show Kate Plus 8 will air its final episode on Sept. 12. The network has chosen to turn the cameras off and walk away from the 36-year-old reality mom and her eight kiddies – twins Mady and Cara, 10, and sextuplets, Hannah, Leah, Joel, Alexis, Colin and Aaden, 7. We’re going to miss them! And what the heck is Kate going to do now?!
“TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate Plus 8,” a network rep tells HollyBaby.com in a statement. “By the end of this season Kate Plus 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate Plus 8); an exceptional milestone. TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future.”
“We’ve had a great run! Six years of whirlwind funfilled adventures thanks to TLC and our many many supportive &diehard fans!” Kate tweeted right after the news broke.
“While it is very sad for me and the kids (there were many tears at the breakfast table this morning!), we are are looking forward with great anticipation to our bright future! As is very typical for me, I am choosing to see the positive in this situation and I am excited to consider many more invigorating opportunities that may come my way!” she adds. “I poured my entire self in2 last 6 yrs of ‘Kate+8′ & I can’t wait2have the chance2challenge myself again w future endeavors!”
Notice how Kate doesn’t ONCE mention the fact that her kids can now live a normal life OR that she can spend more time with them! Kate, Kate, Kate…
But still, how could we forget the wonderful days of Jon & Kate Plus 8 and all the good times, and NOT so good times, we’ve been through with the Gosselin gang.
Yet, we think this is the best decision for the kids — maybe now they can move on with their lives outside of spotlight. We wonder though, what will Kate do next?! That’s a lot of kids to support!
Surprisingly she replied to a fan’s tweet with, “more like finding a new job??! :) No beach for this girl!” Will she get a regular 9 to 5 job like Jon?

FINALLY! So HAPPY to see this hateful woman get what she deserves….. lol! NOW, STOP worrying about yourself selfish prude & take care of YOUR kids. GET A REAL JOB. STOP pimping your kids out to pay for your plastic surgery, hair, FAKE tan, nails. Jon soooooo deserve the kids over this MEAN, HATEFUL, SELFISH, SORRY, LAZY, TRASHY, B^TCH.

YAY..ding dong the witch is gone!!!!!! best news i have heard in a long long time..and jon does pay child support! YAY!! now she might actually have to get a job!! yay!!!!

Right, but how long did that 15 minutes, about 2 years. The show really has run its course. I enjoy the show, but there are only so many trips, so many birthdays ets that you film. The show has gotten stale, unfortunately. I think Kate will be just fine. She has a good head on her shoulders.

Thank goodness! The show should have ended when Jon and Kate seperated, if not earlier. Kate and the kids will be fine, financially, she has loads of options, out of the limelight.

Now JON GOSSELIN WILL HAVE TO STEP UP HIS GAME AND PAY CHILD SUPPORT FOR REAL! No matter what Kate does she will be just find even with a 9-5 but Loser Jon on the other hand is going to have to PUT HIS BACK INTO IT. If Kate has to get a 9-5 some of you haters better hope than Jon’s next Bachelor Pad isn’t the COUNTY JAIL for failure to pay his part.
