Luckily the always-sensible Taylor Swift was wearing granny panties when she took the stage in St. Louis! Still — how embarrassing!
Depending on how you look at it, Taylor Swift‘s lucky number 13 brought her luck — or not — when she took the stage in St. Louis this Saturday, Aug. 13. The singer was belting out “You Belong With Me” when she walked by a wind machine on stage and it blew her pretty blue dress up, completely exposing her underwear! Oh no!
This could have been so much worse for Taylor, except she knows how to protect herself from huge wardrobe malfunctions like this and was wearing underwear that kept her fully covered — whew!
Taylor did not even miss a beat, smiling when her dress flew up and continuing to sing. A part of her dress stayed hitched up for about 20 seconds after the malfunction (at the 35 second mark below) but she smoothed it down and kept prancing around the stage like the complete professional she is!
Taylor is no stranger to wardrobe malfunctions and Marilyn Monroe moments, and we love how she takes it all in stride. Do you think Taylor was embarrassed or does she not care at all?

Incorrect usage –
you wrote “it didn’t look like it PHASED her” incorrect. It means to do something over a period of time. “The new policy was phased in.”
should be:
“it didn’t look like it fazed her”
It means to disturb.

They aren’t granny panties. She wears them, IN CASE that happens. They are more like shorts. and they are nude-colored so they arent as noticable if it does happen.

Her underwear are like shorts because when on stage singers need to put that radio shaped thing that is connected to their ear pieces. yes its embarrasing, but not because shes wearing “granny panties” because she isnt.

She was definately embarassed, I sure would be, but at least she had underwear on. You can tell she didn’t expect it to happen for sure, I still love her.
