Sources say the ‘Twilight’ star is secretly trying to win back the pop-country diva behind the scenes — but is he using her as a rebound after his break-up with Lily Collins?
Whether or not her recent extreme wardrobe malfunction played any role in him wanting her even more, Taylor Swift and her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner are said to be dating again behind the scenes after reconnecting at the Teen Choice Awards on August 7th. Fans of the upcoming Abduction star will not be surprised to hear how he won her back — with a bouquet of roses and a heartfelt note!
“She was gushing to friends about how much fun they had [at the Teen Choice Awards],” a source tells Star. The duo had been talking for quite some time before finally reuniting at the awards show. “They first got together several weeks ago over the phone and e-mail after Taylor reached out to her.” However, he may just be using Taylor to fill a void. “He’s been down because his relationship with Lily Collins is cooling off.”
The couple first got together in 2009 after meeting on the set of Valentine’s Day, however their three month-long relationship quickly ended due to their busy schedules. “They were both way too busy with their careers then. He always felt terrible about the way things ended.”
So do you HollywoodLifers think Taylor Lautner is trying to make amends for how things first ended between them, or is he just using Taylor Swift as a quick hook-up after ending things with Lily Collins?

i dont think that taylor lautner is using taylor swift. i think they are a cute couple and watching some of his movies i see he always has the guy that wants or gets the girl. he sounds really sweet and he always gets the sweet guy role.

Of what I read about Taylor Lautner, he seems to be pursuing Taylor Swift but she dont seem so crazy about him of how a girl should go on if she really liked him..He supported her and went where she went but she didnt seem to do the same for him..A rship is about compromise…If other celebrity couples can have a rship even though they have such a hectic lifestyle then so can they but if they really into each other other wise dont lead each other on…I can go on and on about love…but anyway. @alright/all Most guys do NOT like to be referred to as “a young man” in ink by the GF, how harsh is that?! This LC comment proves how “sincere,kind” & “a good friend” (choke!) she is to Taylor. I bet they “broke up” much earlier and kept the media guessing for Abduction publicity. She has been linked with earlier neg remarks to J Jonas’s friend on BD set about TL’s bitten nails & immature behavior along with studio photos. Now,I wonder if the whole love relationship-thing was staged. She was never serious talent to begin with – REAL talent works VERY hard nonstop for years & not thru a famous relative. She makes “gushingly” FAKE appearances promoting herself on Kimmel. I’m convinced that TL/LC relationship was protected by his employees until TL got tired of her or the building fan’s/extra’s negative comments about her convinced him or he’s now got someone else in mind. IF “Lily got more ink because she was linked to Lautner.” was her plan – it worked. As for Taylor, he needs to seriously surround himself with director/writers like T Burton,Scorsese,Jim Cameron,Ridley Scott, do more research, and make his agents keep his career alive after twilight.

well well well everyhing we said came true lol. now that the premiere of abduction happened and the movie came out today it has just been made “official” by US Weekly that Taylor and Lily broke up a week before the premiere. apparently taylor broke up with lily according to the “source” and that he apparently wants to be single for a while. Now i’m not going to be a hypocrite and say that US Weekly is right, even though i never thought they were ever a real couple anyway, so we’ll wait and see if GossipCop denies the story. Let me remind you, that US Weekly isn’t a very reliable source so we’ll wait and see if anyone denies anything over the next couple days. I think when the source said that taylor broke up with her, he probably meant that taylor just got tired of the showmance.

@dianne – I’ll break it down for you why some people don’t like Lily: she has a reputation for being snobbish. Several stories have come out that she was rude to the Abduction extras and she was disrespectful to the the director John Singleton. These are account from people who stated they worked as extras on Abduction, and their statements have gone unchallenged. I don’t like the girl because I have no respect for a female who dumps a stuntman boyfriend for an A-list upgrade. I believe she got with him for career advancement. Lily got more ink because she was linked to Lautner. Overall, many feel the word loyalty in not in Lily’s vocabulary. If TL God forbids suffers a reversal of fortune LC would distance herself from him with a quickness.

i don’t know if any of you have seen the USA Today article that was just done but he said once again that him and lily are just friends BUT he aslo said he’ll step out when he has a signifigant other “eventually, when i’m older and when it’s very serious. but i don’t need to be thinking about it that much right now.” to me this means he’s single and isn’t dating sara again. at least that what i gathered from this.

To those saying that you wouldn`t be suprised if Sara got herself pregnant to keep Taylor with her is so ludricous! I`m not saying that if she could, she wouldn`t go back to him, but she is such a sweet and nice person. She attends church and even goes to bible studies… and she`s only 20. So far out of all the girls TL has dated, she has been by far the best and probably will continue to be because she loved him BEFORE the fame and money unlike Lily who wouldn`t even give him the time of day had he not been famous. how are all celebrities attention whores? The only celebrities who like attention are the ones who are famous for nothing like Kim Kardashian and Snooki and people like that. Taylor has said in many interviews that the paparazzi are a pain, but he is willing to deal with it because he’s doing what he loves- making movies. also, as for sara, you don’t know what she’s like in her life outside of formspring and twitter, i think she’s super sweet, but i’m not going to say that she’s completely innocent because i don’t know her beyond that. lily usually seems nice in interviews, but everybody says that behind the scenes she’s a jerk.

i guess you haven’t read any of the other comments on the page. the teen vogue cover shoot was done months ago. taylor has been saying he’s single ever since he started promoting abduction. he said him and lily are “really good friends” to MTV at the Abduction premiere (you can read their article and see the video on their website) and he asldo said they were just good friends two weeks ago when he went on despierta america in miami.

I really really hope there is no “Abduction 2″. Firstly because I really can’t bare having to watch Taylor and Lily on screen yet again and if they are really on not so friendly terms as many people have brought up on here… well that will just be interesting to watch. And secondly because I feel like this is getting to Jason Bournesque and that Taylor is trying to hard to be this whole “action” star. People will only take an action star seriously if they see that they have some acting chops. I’m not saying Taylor is a bad actor at all but If I was him I would try to prove myself first, and an action film would not of been my “breakthrough” role.

@tlhg, I agree. I want Abduction to do well too but def no Abduction 2, mainly bc I don’t want to see another TL & LC combo. I’m still thinking if I want to see this movie cos I really really can’t stand her. What’s worse, Taylor’s been trying to promote their love scene. Like wtf? Just read two online reviews of Abduction. Sad to say the critics had the long knives out. The only joy I got from it is that Lily got clocked big time. The screenwriter took a beating too. I hope the movie turns out to be critic-proof and does well this weekend. Singleton is already talking Abduction 2 with TL.
