Kim disinvites several guests — is she being a diva?
Kim Kardashian is days away from her Aug. 20 nuptials to Kris Humphries, and it seems like she could be turning into a bridezilla!
Kim, 30, had to knock nearly 50 guests off of her invitation list at the last minute, the New York Post reports. The reason? There were space issues at the Montecito, Calif., home of Google’s Eric Schmidt, who is hosting the wedding.
Some of those who got the axe include members of stepdad Bruce Jenner‘s extended family, as well as any ‘plus one’ guests who weren’t specifically invited.
Predictably, Kim’s celebrity friends — including Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato — have made the cut.

What does Kim K. know about basketball??? How can anyone in their right mind spend so much money on a wedding, 3 dresses, . . . etc. when there are children in the US homeless and hungry??? What are Kim K.’s talents?

All this hype and she probably won’t look any different than she does any other time she wears white, it won’t last. I agree family first! Forget the celebrities; my family then my close friends.

i really love kim k and the kardashian’s show and i am happy she’s getting married but i hate that she cutoff her stepfather family off the wedding instead of the celebrities she has invitied

She invited every and any celebrity she ever worked or met once. Its ridiculous that she wants her wedding to be everywhere so bad she doesn’t invite people who actually are a part of her own family. She is making herself look like a fool with all this hype and saying “I want it to be America’s Royal Wedding.” The Royal’s did not invite every celebrity they could and actually kept it very tight, the biggest reception only had 300 people and the only reason there were 1900 at the actual wedding was because it was a state affair but, no celebrities were there in the front area where the vows were exchanged. This couple will not last. She will want it to but he will not.

What a shame of course Bruce family gets’s the first cut. They treat Bruce like he is some scrub when in fact he is the only celebrity that has rights to claim fame in that family( he has a gold medal- he earned it) and before Kim was making money from her trashy video tape scandal they were living in that house and had things from Bruce ‘s money. Their mother didn’t have a job. And really Justin Biber, Demi Lovato. She don’t even know Demi and probably wants her there because Demi just made her come back and that would give the wedding more publicity. Fake wedding, fake celebrity friends that just want to be seen.

Who cares how they got famous, these girls are very successful business women. Good on them! Atleast they are not crackhores like every other celeb in Hollywood!!

I wonder if you get disinvited, is the confidentiality agreement you have to sign still valid? If not, sell! sell! sell your story! Yea! This marriage will be over in the next six months, or when Chris Humphries gets traded to a small mid-western team like the Milwakee Bucks. She will dump him like a hot potatu before she has to sit in the stands of some third rate team. Hope he gets traded to Detroit. For all the implied worth she and her family own, I get the feeling it’s like joining Amway. All is outside with nothing to show inside except a very plastic persona. Still lov ya, Kimmie. Hug, hug!

My first wedding was an “over-the-top” event, with a guest list way too long. I knew that I had invited maybe 7 or 8 too many people, but did I dis-invite them? Um, no! My parents just added it to the tab and planned accordingly. The staff at the reception hall were great.
Let me tell you something. I don’t think Kim really loves Kris Humphries. Her true love is Reggie Bush, but she’s ignoring those feelings, and this will eventually get Kim K.

The truth is, Kim will be 31 soon, she’s never
had children, knows she wants kids, and I’m pretty sure Kim and Kris are going to start trying for a baby right away. This is what Kim desperately wants. A marriage with babies. But is she with the right man? Yes, it may be the right time but only time will tell…

I would think even if it were a step-father, you would cut celebrity guests first. It is not a premiere for a movie, it’s about family and those you love seeing you make a lifetime commitment with your beloved before God.

You know the only reason Kim K. went to that award show was to try and recruit Demi Lovato in hopes that Demi might actually show up. I gotta imagine those most of Kim’s “celebrity friends” will probably ditch this sham wedding. Demi’s nice enough of a person that she might go to the stupid thing. Otherwise, expect only D-List celebs desperate for attention.

You say disinvited, I say “cut from the movie,” or “Written out of the script.” I guess the producers don’t want to have to pay their extras, like everyone else, so any extras that demanded to be paid for their services got the axe. I’d go to the union and file a grievance if I was one of those who just got fired/”disinvited. Especially if they had already signed the contract. Do they even have the proper permits to shoot this stupid movie?

I like watching the Kardashians on tv but this is really rude! How can she disinvite her family? The only reason I would go to her wedding would be to see Justin Bieber cause I love him. But since Selena isn’t going, I wonder if he is?

My thoughts exactly!!!! It’s just RUDE, especially at this late date and especially the +1, I just would not attend myself – wonder if anyone that was booted had already purchased a wedding gift??? I am so over the K’s anyway – sick and tired of them….

This is quickly going from tacky to sad and in a couple of years or so, kind of tragic. The groom is a chump, the bride is a pawn/bimbo and the step-dad a castrated caricature of a once great athlete. Kris Jenner is a pimp and this wedding extravaganza is clearly all about her. Family booted from a wedding to make room for “celebrities” we won’t even remember in 5 years? Sorry, just sad.

Who really gives a damn about this wedding? If it weren’t for the OJ Simpson trial where Kim’s dad, Robert, was one of OJ’s attorneys, no one would ever have heard of the Kardashians. I believe we’ve had enough of Kim, Chloe and the rest of the K’s.

Anymore I really admire the celebrities that cut out all of the Hollywood hoopla, and only invite celebrities that are their friends in real life, and keep it intimate.
