OMG! Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas Are Friends Again! They Tweet To Each Other!
After nearly a year of silence following a painful break up, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas take the first step toward being friends!
Breaking up is hard to do and when you’re in the spotlight, it can be almost unbearable. For 18-year-old Demi Lovato and 22-year-old Joe Jonas, their whirlwind romance and abrupt break-up was the talk of Tinsel Town and left the two unable to be friends. Now, with a surprising tweet exchange between the two, it looks like their relationship is on the mend and headed toward a genuine friendship. Can you believe it?
Long before Demi and Joe were an official couple, they were best friends and recorded the hit song, “Make A Wave.” That song earned the two a Do Something award Aug. 14 and, past feelings aside, Demi couldn’t help but share her excitement with Joe via Twitter.
“@joejonas Yayy! We won :)” she tweeted Aug. 18.
Joe quickly replied with his own tweet for Demi, writing, ”Wow! @ddlovato Congrats dem! Super awesome!!”
Only time will tell if the two will go back to being BFFs, but it’s nice to see the two talking again. During their tour with each other last fall, Demi had an emotional and physical breakdown that sent her to a treatment facility in Chicago. She’s since been recovering and is ready to make her come back. Meanwhile, Joe is working on his solo career.

im so happy for them its so nice see them become bffs again , but as a couple & a serious relationship im not sure , i think they need some time apart to realize what they want and what they mean to each other.
i love them both & i wish the best for them.

Why would Joe want to date a cokewhore who cheated on him repeatedly?
(Please, no one ask how I know this. It’s 10000% the truth. Some of Joe’s friends wanted that information out, and many of Demi’s friends sold her out too)

sorry i don’t think they will get back together because there friendship will be more important but you never know what will happen but i think frienship is better then nothing. Guys good luck but i think your freindship is more important xxx

Thank goodness people on here make more sense. Some people are going crazy saying they are meant to be etc etc. If so he would have asked her out in the first place a long time ago and they would still be together. Love them both but really dont think Demi should have anything more to do with him. Whilst I dont think he actually had much to do with her problems and breakdown he certainly did not help things by dumping her and flaunting the hot skinny new girlfriend. Demi deserves better than him and needs more time to heal and take care of number 1 – herself.

Demi said in her interview with Elle Magazine that she had not spoken to Joe Jonas since she went into rehab. So no, their friendship has been completely broken for nearly a year, just as Hollywood Life has stated. Demi has serious issues, so it’s hard to blame him for their breakup. However, bringing his new girlfiend with him on that tour was in poor tastes. There was a fight between Demi and Ashley that contributed to what eventually happened to Demi. Whether she’ll forgive him for that remains to be seen.
