With just 24 days left until the return of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ I’ll take anything I can get to satisfy my craving.
Ian Somerhalder plays handy man to Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel in a steamy new photo shoot for Allure magazine, and while I may not know much about fashion, I can say with certainty that this is an incredible photo shoot. Mostly because looking at it is like playing a sexy game of “Where’s Waldo?”
It really does seem like Ian is just a handy man working in Candice’s apartment, and he happens to accidentally find his way into a few of the shots. But it’s a beautiful accident, like the Big Bang. Or an unplanned, but totally adorable, baby.
All right, I’ll stop now. Just enjoy the pretty pictures.

Ian is really starting to get on my nerves. He sits there and preaches about how we need to save the enviorment and goes and askes congress for funding (aka money they dont have) for this wildlife rescue stuff. I agree that we need to help the planet but he doesnt seem aware that there is no such thing as “global warming” or “climate change”. Its called a cycle. He just seems really out of touch with reality.
Hes still hot though. Good pictures.

i agree. its kinda frustrating that hes unaware or maybe he just doesnt believe in it. but at least hes trying to make a difference now. i guess the next ice age is gonna wipe out the species that hes trying to save anyway but hey, top marks for effort! lol

There is no such thing as global warming? You seem to be the one living in the unreal world not Ian. He’s done so many to help the planet and animals it’s not frustrating it’s charitable. At least he’s putting his fame to good use. He rescued hundreds of sled dogs and many more. Human beings are making the “cycle” of life more complicated by pollution hence global warming and climate change exists. So props to Ian!

Ian has never said “global warming” or “climate change”. Actually the only time he mentioned it was to say he does not believe in it. He realizes “mother earth” is going through a cycle. What he does believe is that humans can do more to protect the environment they live in. In other words, please stop cutting down the trees and poisoning the waters with toxic waste and respect & protect ecosystems. If cutting down the trees and destroying the rain forests cannot be stopped, then find an alternative to replace them. That is what Allan Savory of the Savory Institute has done through agriculture in Zimbabwe, which is why Ian was there filming a documentary this summer. Ian is purchasing a 160 acre farm in Louisiana to do the same thing. As for Ian going before the Congressional Committee it was to ask for HR50, the Multinational Species Conservation Funds Reauthorization Act. He asked that the subcommittee move quickly to mark up the HR50 and reauthorize this very important piece of legislation. His own IS Foundation also focuses on species protection, as well as habitat conservation.
I suggest you do your homework Molly before criticizing someone for trying to do something good, because you were way off base regarding Ian. I think you are the one that is not in touch with reality.

Ian did this photo shoot the day after the White House Correspondence dinner that he and Nina attended together (she was his plus one). He and Nina were in DC and Ian took a train to NYC for the photo shoot. He returned to DC the same day and he and Nina finished touring DC the next day.
