“The boys got this crazy fish pedicure,” the actress explains to Vanity Fair. “There are fish here that eat the dead skin off your feet and I thought it would be fun to send the boys.”

What did Maddox, 10 and Pax, 7, think of the experience? “They were in hysterics, they said it was ticklish,” Angelina shares.

The treatment is popular in Mediterranean countries, where it’s used to help treat people with skin conditions like psoriasis (are you reading this Kim K?) — and also used to amuse mischievous Jolie-Pitt kids.

While Maddox and Pax had their tootsies nibbled, the rest of the clan relaxed at their Maltese rental home and played with the family’s adopted pet turtle!

Angelina tells Vanity Fair, “The rest of us hung out at the house. We have a nice house, and swim and paint and play with the turtle. There’s a turtle.”

After Malta, the family moved on to the UK — where Brad’s still filming the zombie film. We wonder if Maddox and Pax kept up the fish pedicures?
