There were no porn stars or prostitutes at this birthday bash. Instead the hell-raising TV star chose to mark the occasion with two family friendly — and booze free — dinner dates with his exes and their kids!

First up for Charlie Sheen, who turned 46 on Sept. 3, was a meal on Saturday with Denise Richards and their daughters Sam, 7 and Lola, 6 — followed the next night by dinner with ex wife Brooke Mueller and two-year-old twin sons Bob and Max. Sounds like Charlie’s finally getting his priorities right. Do you think he’s a changed man?

Charlie’s never been on better terms with his exes, who he recently moved into new houses close to his own LA home.

After Saturday’s dinner, he tweeted at Denise, cooing, “Love you and the girls..!!! Thanks for a great birthday dinner!! Great night! xo c RT @DENISE_RICHARDS Happy Birthday @charliesheen !”

And he was back on top form the following night for a cozy dinner at the Buca di Beppo Italian restaurant in Encino, Ca. with Brooke, Bob and Max. He even posed for photos, showing off a dinner table packed with delicious food and not a single alcoholic drink in sight!

After stuffing his belly for a second night straight, Charlie took to Twitter once again to tell fans, “Celebrated B-day at @bucadibeppo w/ the boys, Brooke & a bunch of family & friends. Huge portions, stellar staff. We will B back soon..!!! (sic)”

It’s great that Charlie chose to spend his birthday weekend with his children and we hope this is a sign he’s ready to become a real dad to Sam, Lola, Bob and Max.
