The actress was stunned when thousands of screaming fans turned her book signing in Sao Paolo on Monday, Sept. 5, into a giant baby shower!

Hilary Duff already has enough baby clothes to fill a nursery closet, thanks to generous fans who lined up to meet her and get a signed copy of her new book Elixir.

The 23-year-old didn’t realize she had so many devotees in Brazil until she arrived at the signing and found a sea of people waiting for a glimpse of her baby bump. She was so overwhelmed she tweeted a photo of the crowd!

And it got better when Hilary got to meet the enthusiastic fans — they showered her with piles of baby gifts and clothes!

“I swear this baby is so damn spoiled,” she tweeted. “It has a complete wardrobe already from the fans here! Can’t wait to show mike [Comrie]! and play dress up w baby! (sic)”

“Wow brazil you guys did it again! very emotional to be greeted with so much love here! thanks for this special day I will never forget! big hug”
