The finalists of ‘Project Runway’ prepared for the biggest moment of their careers this afternoon. Lucky for them, tons of supportive stars stepped out to watch these up-and-coming designers present their amazing spring collections!
Jennifer Love Hewitt, Malin Akerman and Heidi Klum are among of the few A-listers who sat front row at the show.
Heidi looked stunning, donning a black-sequins jumpsuit as she judged the season 9 finale of Project Runway.
But the real stars were the designers who have been competing all year to win Project Runway. Anya Ayoung-Chee rocked the stage showing off an array of wild prints inspired by her Spanish hometown, Port-of-Spain the capital of Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
Finalist Olivier Green‘s collection was very futuristic — along with her models! And Bert Keeter‘s collection was very chic and sleek!
But overall Kimberly Goldson‘s clothes were a crowd’s favorite. Her collection was full of geometrical cut-outs on top of bright and fun colors!
Who do YOU think is the winner of Project Runway season 9? Drop us a comment below!

Anya really knows how to make moo moo,s period. If that was the challenge than she deserved to win.

I’m from Trinidad. Port of Spain isn’t Spanish. It’s as “Caribbean” (for lack of a better word) as the rest of Trinidad.

Port of Spain is from Spanish influence… If you do not know your history do not go internationally and talk… you are disgracing the trinis..

I am from Trinidad and Tobago and I’ve been cheering on for Anya however I think she went a little too safe with the jumpers and cocktail dresses. I thought with all the praises for her “out-of-the-box” designs that the judges were pleased with and she won the challenges for would have made a better collection.

I think Anya will win. She know how to make women look beautiful. Kimberly’s stuff looks great but is more of an executive work look.

Bert was eliminated, too. I want Anya to win, though.

A few things I noted. This is a spoiler since the show isn’t finished airing. This would have been nice to know.
Incorrect: all year
Correct: all season
Incorrect: Sequins. (A small round, often sparkly fashion accent)
Correct: Sequined. (Adorned with sequins)
Incorrect: Capital. (An upper case letter)
Correct: Capitol. (The center of government)
Port-of-Spain is a ‘Caribbean’ port town, perhaps even partially Latino, but surely not Spanish. That’s like saying New England is British.
Olivier Green was eliminated in episode nine. Olivier Green is also a him, not a her. I don’t know if he was at Fashion Week or not, but because of his elimination, I doubt he will win Season 9; Project Runway.

Anya will win, I’m also from Trinidad and will agree that she has pushed herself to the extreme through the past few weeks always showcasing wonderful, complex designs.

America is the only country that has a “capitol”…
Everywhere else has a capital city
