Demi Lovato is releasing her new album Unbroken on September 20 and we already adore “Skyscraper” her first single from the album. She recently revealed the album is also full of upbeat, positive songs in contrast to the soulful ballad that was “Skyscraper”. Now, a demo of her “Give Your Heart A Break” single has hit the internet and we have to say — we’re obsessed!
The catchy chorus says: “Don’t want to break your heart / Wanna give your heart a break / I know you’re scared as balls / That you might make a mistake / There’s just one life to live / And there’s no time to waste / So let me give your heart a break.”

I was gonna come on and say “Leave Demi’s album alone until it releases. Because you’re just ruining the surprise.” Didn’t even listen to it, for that reason but I laughed when I found out it wasn’t the song :) So… Good job Demi for keeping it a secret :)

There’s sorta a deep smokey element to Demi’s voice. It’s like a little bit of soul. I know that voice ain’t hers. Although close enough for some moron to mistake what they are hearing. Hollywood Life jumps too fast on rumors they pick up from other tabloid sources without doing any follow up work to confirm the stories themselves.

This is not Demi singing this song. It is a demo bay another artist for a similarly titled song on Demi’s album. We are not sure if it is the same song or not. Probably not.
