Sometimes growing up means having to make difficult choices. And when 90210 returns for its fourth season at 8 p.m. tonight on The CW, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) will have to make her most difficult choice yet: Nerd or cowboy? HollywoodLife.com got the scoop on Naomi’s season four suitors — current squeeze Max (Josh Zuckerman) and new wild cowboy Austin (Justin Deeley) — and the “difficult decisions” she’ll have to make this year.
“[Austin] offers something to Naomi that Max can’t,” Josh tells us. “And likewise, Max offers something Austin can’t. That puts Naomi in the middle, having to make some difficult decisions and see how she feels about them both. He’s a potential competition, a potential love interest. He appeals to Naomi’s wild side.”
Speaking of Naomi’s wild side, our favorite party girl is going to be sewing her naughty oats all over the California University campus this season — and believe it or not, Max is fine with all of it!
“He’s completely accepting of her behavior, even if it’s a little outlandish sometimes,” Josh tells us. “That’s what’s wonderful about the relationship between Naomi and Max. He accepts her for who she is, and she loves that. She’s very competitive and ambitions and ostentatious and Max keeps her in check. She pushes Max beyond his limits of countability. They balance each other out. But it’s college, so there’s bound to be a lot more shenanigans.”
