Brad Pitt BEGS Angelina Jolie To Quit Acting & Stay Home With The Kids! Will She Do It?

Angie’s stint as a stay-at-home mom this summer not only had the kids grinning from ear to ear — it made Brad happy too! But is she ready to keep up with mommy duty and give up work?

If daddy Brad Pitt gets his way, Angelina Jolie will be spending much less time on the big screen and much more time doting on the couple’s six kids — Maddox, 10, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. The actor, 48, is begging Angie to put her career on hold for the sake of their children, but she’s NOT having it!

While Brad has been a hands-on dad in the past, this summer he spent most of his time shooting his new zombie-flick World War Z in London while Angelina took the brunt of parental duty. And the kids — and Brad — have loved every minute of it.

“Brad has asked Angelina to take the next year off from work so that she can spend more time with the family,” an insider reveals to In Touch magazine. “He feels like the children’s emotional problems — particularly Pax’s tendency to act out and Shiloh’s brattiness — have gotten better with their mother around. He thinks they’d improve even more if they got more time with her.”

But although Angelina, 36, loves spending every waking moment with her kids and enjoys being a full-time mom, she’s not ready to give up her career, especially with more movie roles lined up. She wants Brad to take his turn and head back home for a while.

The drama has caused a huge rift among Brad and Angelina and they’re bickering more than ever. But what do YOU think they should do? Keep up their routine of flip-flopping who stays home or should Angie quit acting for a while and be a permanent full-time mom?

Neither of them has to work..ever again! Nor will any of their children with all of the money they have. I think it is extremely selfish and insane for this couple to adopt and bring into this world more and more children when neither of them is willing to give up anything and put the kids first! Shame on “Brangelina”

Angelina loves nothing more than spending every waking moment with the kids? REALLY? Is that why each child has his/her own personal nanny?!! She doesn’t have all of those kids because she loves kids and wants to make their lives better…they are an accessory for the public to see

Morality police, you’re psycho. First of all Angelina has been home for more than a year. How sexist of you to demand Angelina give up her career but not Brad. I also don’t understand the haters’ claim that Brad is miserable and trapped in his relationship. If he hates Angelina and the kids so much he would leave.

One summer does not equal a year. Unless your math is different from ours. If you asked the kids which parent they would prefer stayed home, who do you think they would pick? Mommy or Daddy? (Don’t bother answering, it’s a rhetorical question)

Besides, who is the driving force behind this collection of kids? I doubt Brad set out to have six kids. And if it was completely up to Angie, she would have more.

Easy to have/adopt them. Much harder to put them first and actually raise them.

Good thing money can buy lots and lots of nannies.

Actually, she is right. The last film she did was spring of LAST year – The Tourist. Like March, April of 2010.

So I guess writing and directing a movie (In the Land of Blood and Honey) somehow doesn’t count as work? And all these press junkets and film festivals don’t count either I suppose?

Please. Elton John is more of a mother than Angie.

Of course Angie doesn’t want to stay home and actually be a mother to her children. Even for just one year.

What a pathetic excuse for a parent.

She has six kids and then dumps them with nannies.
No wonder the kids are bad. Research shows that the more time kids have with their mother, the better they will behave. Brad is right.

But Angie is a selfish individual (demonstrated by her string of affairs).

So I’m not holding my breath for her to do what is right for those kids.

Angie hasn’t worked as an actor May of 2010. She hasn’t worked at all since November 16, 2010. She also took over a year off in 2008 and very brief shoot sin 2005 and 2006. From all accounts Brad was the one who talked her into acting again after the twins were born. AJ spends way more time with her kids than the average parent.
