He’s about to become a dad in ‘Breaking Dawn’ — when Kristen Stewart pops out his little half-vampire baby — and now RPatz is getting a taste of fatherhood in real life too!
Robert Pattinson has been named the godfather to Matilda Sturridge‘s newborn son. Matilda is an actress and the little sister of Rob’s best friend Tom Sturridge. What a lucky little boy!
RPatz met Matilda when he and Tom were teenage classmates at Harrodian School in England. They all went on to pursue careers in acting — and stayed close friends.
Matilda, 23, who has been in a string of TV shows in the UK, gave birth to her first child — a baby boy — on September 4. And chose RPatz to be be his mentor!
Sources tell Us Weekly Rob was honored to be asked, and celebrated his new role with a night in London with Tom Sturridge and his girlfriend Sienna Miller last week!
We don’t know the little baby’s name yet. Maybe he’s even been named after Rob… or his Twilight character Edward Cullen!
Do you think Rob will make a good godfather, HollyMoms? Perhaps he’ll use it as practice for when he’s ready to make babies with Kristen Stewart!

If this is true, I wish Tom Sturridge would get out of Rob’s life & stop tying him down with all these damn babies!!! The one Tom has coming with Miller & now THIS one??? Does Tom Sturridge WORK or does he just sit around making babies??

No way would he ever choose kristen to be even the surrogate mother. She has bald and bloating genes running in the family. Unless he wants his child to lose his glorious hair he would never do that. And he is smart enough to know that.

FYI HL…Sienna Miller wasn’t even in the country the Sunday of the christening. She was doing her African ambassador thing. Kristen Stewart went with Rob as his date and their friends Marcus Foster and actor Eddie Redmayne were there also.

You do know that movies are pretend and make believe, pretty much like this web site. Still making up stories for site hits I see. Once again, you seem to be confusing real life with the make believe one. Just like insisting on a double date that never happened as one of the parties (Miller) was not even in the country at the time of said outing. Nice try though.
