Sonja admits: ‘I’ve been invited back. I found out today last minute!’

The Real Housewives of New York City will be moving on to season five sans four of it’s former stars. According to what star Sonja Morgan tells Us magazine, she will be returning — but Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Alex McCord and Cindy Barshop are out!

Sonja’s producer informed her of the situation. “I’ve been invited back,” she shares. “I found out today last minute.”

Sonja is sad to be parting ways from her former costars. “I feel like all seven of us are stars in our own right,” she says. “We had the best season ever, the greatest ratings for New York Housewives ever.”

“Obviously, first choice is always to be asked back and have a choice,” she continues. “You like to have a decision to make. But to not be asked back is sad, but nothing is final. You never say never!”

But she also believes that her friends will find their own ways. “I have 100 percent faith in every girl that is on the show,” notes Sonja. “We didn’t get here for any reason except we are all very talented and have a lot to share on screen.”

“I’m going to reach out and see and make sure they are happy,” Sonja adds. “I’m sure that everybody has plans. I’m not worried.”
