What 6-year-old Eden Wood did on the runway during New York Fashion Week surpasses all the typical Toddlers & Tiaras drama! The pageant queen was photographed in a skimpy cowgirl outfit — including a belly shirt and short-shorts — on the catwalk at the 2012 Cowgirl Riders Tiny Debutante Fashion Show, gyrating and thrusting to the music! Talk about hyper-sexualizing toddlers!
While all the other little girls were covered up in age-appropriate cowgirl getups for the Cicciabella event, Eden, from Taylor, Arkansas, wore a very provocative outfit and showed off every bit of her 6-year-old frame, which in my eyes as well as many others I’m sure, is truly disturbing.
Surprisingly, the event’s host, Real Housewives of New York City‘s Kelly Bensimon defends Eden and says her performance was anything but off-putting. She told the Daily Beast: “That wasn’t stripping. That was just her having a little fun, girly moment. If she was really doing something, I would have literally moved her into doing something else. I have rules.”
Carole Lieberman, M.D., psychiatrist and author of Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets tells HollyBaby.com: “Eden Wood is on the runway to disaster! She is a victim of her mother’s obsession to live vicariously through her because mom doesn’t feel pretty or sexy enough herself! Even at 6 years old, Eden has come to understand that the way to get her mother’s love and the attention of everyone else, she must flaunt her sexuality — though she doesn’t quite understand exactly what sex is yet.”
Wow, that’s some serious stuff Eden could be toying with!
“Eden will grow up expecting to be valued only for her sex-appeal, not her brains or other qualities. This is already skewing her attitude towards relationships, where she will undoubtedly try to use sex as a weapon to get guys to love her and do her bidding,” Lieberman adds. “She is on track to becoming a ‘Sex Siren’ type of bad girl.”

Dear Lord, this pedophilia thing is going WAY too far.
It’s sick. Do the mothers of these children not realize all of the fantasies they are giving to these sick men? Someone use some common sense and stop this.

Sadly, this is normal down south. When I was a teen in the 80′s, I visited relatives in SC and they took me to one of these kiddie pageants. It was very disturbing to me, but for the people in that area, it’s not a big deal.

OMG, ok first of all this girl is too old to be dressing and dancing like that. And too young to be slapping her a** and shaking her booty like that. What is WRONG with her mother????? Jesus Christ someone PLEASE tell her mother this is not normal!!!

Disgusting. The mother of this little girl should be slapped. I can’t believe a room full of adults just sat there watching this little girl slap and shake her butt at them.

Is the mom going to be ok with her daughter dressing and dancing like that when she’s 9, 12, 16…What is wrong with these mothers??? I like baby pageants but not the lengths they go to dressing them up like baby whores. make-up is used to cover up pimples, blemishes baby faces. and belly tops and short-shorts!!! seriously?
This is a perfect start to the path towards strip clubs.

Very sad that a mother would teach/allow her daughter to strip and smack her bum. I was thinking is was a little far fetched until I saw the butt slapping and the mini strip-tease.
Compared to the other contestant, she was up there for quite some time. Poor girl.
