HollywoodLife.com spoke to Aimee Teegarden and Michael B. Jordan on the red carpet of the Emmys and while Aimee is all for a big screen continuation of their show, Michael isn’t!
Aimee Teegarden and Michael B. Jordan aren’t on the same page when it comes to a Friday Night Lights film, Hollywoodlife.com learned at the Emmys!
“You know, I think if it happened, it would be great. It would be such a fun thing to do. But you know, we’ll see!” Aimee told us.
But Michael sang a different tune! “I don’t know, I think sometimes it might be too soon. At the end of the day, we went out with a bang. We’re going out on top right now as far as with the Emmy nominations. Me personally? I’d leave it alone.”
What do you think, HollywoodLifers, should there be a Friday Night Lights movie?

The fact that no one on either side of this interview even acknowledged the MAJOR motion picture that inspired the show is ridiculous… I couldn’t believe they did the show in the first place. Wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be, but it wasn’t nearly as good as what it could’ve been.

I agree, 1stlady. This show was a watered down version of the movie (which was a watered down version of the book). even worse the TV show not only failed to addres the poverty and racism that the book did, it also decided to populate the cast with a bunch of folks who looked like they were professional models. Kinda like a CW show with brains.

I don’t agree. We loved the TV series and the movie…not so much.
