Despite rumors to the contrary Rob is not recording a solo album yet! Boo!
UPDATE: MTV spoke with Rob’s rep who says, “The report is untrue. He is not working on an album right now.” Darn! We would really have loved to see Rob’s solo album. Are you disappointed?
Get your iPods ready, Twi-Hards, because Robert Pattinson is reportedly hitting the studio to lay down a full album! A source tells Us Weekly that Rob has been “kicking a few original songs around for a long time,” but didn’t have time to record them. Thankfully, his schedule is now wide open until he has to promote Breaking Dawn, Part 1 in a few weeks.
The source describes Rob’s album as “guitar-based” with “nothing pop,” and they even liken his sound to that of Ray LaMontagne and Van Morrison!
Not only are we excited to hear what Rob has in store for us, but we’re also glad Rob will finally be doing what he’s really passionate about.
“Music is his first love!” another source reveals. “He’s tortured because he avoids it. When he’s sitting around jamming in the studio, it’s his favorite moment of life.”

I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. It doesn’t matter what this man decide to do ,you people will always have a comment , none of you are musically incline or have any acting abilities , so the best thing to do is deprecate others specially Pattinson .. I ponder sometimes why ?? Why does it matter what he does, he has absolutely no effect on your mundane little lives …is that what it is ? You want to matter even though you are doing this anonymously i suppose it was somewhat amusing in the beginning but you guys are so loquacious after a while it’s no longer comical reading your drivel, it has become redundant and trite…
