Meet the three new women of ‘RHONY’: author Carole Radziwill, fashion designer Heather Thomson and Wall Street wife Aviva Drescher! Ramona Singer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that they begin filming on Oct. 3!
It’s hard to believe that we won’t be seeing Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop or Kelly Bensimon returning to The Real Housewives of New York City for season five, but Bravo made the decision to let them go. And it seems that Bravo’s already hired their replacements! Bravo has brought aboard three new women — Carole Radziwill, a distant relative of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, fashion designer Heather Thomson and Wall Street wife Aviva Drescher — sources tell the NY Daily News! Can these women fill the shoes of the stars that were let go?
Carole is related to Jackie O through her late husband Anthony Radziwill. Anthony’s mother Lee Radziwill is Jackie’s little sister. Anthony sadly passed away from cancer in 1999. Carole is a former ABC producer and now a bestselling author, but has no children. According to the sources, Carole will add to the drama of the housewives as the single gal in the group. Sounds like Sonja Morgan has a new partying buddy!
Heather is married and has two children. She’s fashion designer of Yummie Tummie shapewear line.
Aviva’s married to well-off Reid Drescher, founder of Spencer Clarke Securities & Investment Banking. The couple have three children. Producers were looking to find a woman who would represent the finance and Wall Street crowds, says a source. Aviva seems perfect for the role!
Aviva and Heather have both socialized with RHONY cast members in the past – but poor Carole has “never met any of the women,” reveals an insider.
It will be very interesting to see what roles these women take on in season five. Will Sonja buddy up with Carole and Aviva because they’re blonde? Will Ramona Singer start quarrels with Heather over business ideas? And who will be Countess LuAnn de Lesseps best friend now that Jill and Kelly are gone? Only time will tell.
Ramona told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that filming is set to begin on Oct. 3. Hopefully Bravo’s recasting will do the show justice!

Good-bye and good riddence to Jill, Kelly and Cindy. They won’t be missed. Good decison on Bravo’s part. I loved that they kept Ramona, The Countess and Sonja. But please give the new ladies a chance. It wasn’t their fault Bravo got rid of the hateful ones.

I was physically stressed by the coniving of jill and pretencious crocrodile tears expecially with bethernny franco then turning against ramona it felt like she owned the show and wanted others off. Kelly was a dissaster and did not contribute to the show looking for sympathy everywhere and there was no insight into her life,it is a reality show and only ramona,sonja and berternny showed most insights into their lives and iam pleased that ramona is stil on. I wish luann was fired too as she is not showing the viewrs enough insight into her life, and she led to the downfall of jill in the end not being a true friend when jill had the fight with berternny and instigating fights with other cast members. It was becoming too stressfull to watch here in london,i had to tune away most times. I for one am really pleased for the changes and looking forward to fresh faces and fresh air.

The designer is like remona
And the wall street wife (who’s husband has $80m) is sonja.

Carole Radziwill, daughter in-law of Jackie O’s baby sister , Lee, a real career woman, a real writer will stop the clock of Luann de lesseps. First of all Carole is the widow of a real PRINCE. Secondly, Carole is a real person. Heather is a real designer. She is the mother of yummy lingerie, successful and everywhere. Aviva the third replacement is the wife of a investment banker. As the viewers explore the new dynamic, perhaps we will see Luann put in her place………into the corner witch.
