Seriously! Even though they were happy in this episode, how long can it really last? He knows she’s the best at neuro and yet she’s stuck delivering babies!
Oh, Grey’s Anatomy — what is happening with your heroine? Destined to become a great surgeon, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is now slumming it on the “vagina squad!”
Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith seem to be happier, and for that I’m glad. But it doesn’t go unnoticed that he longs for her in the operating room. “I never knew how good I had it until Meredith was off my service,” he told Owen (Kevin McKidd).
And she’s the one who found him the “inoperable” tumor, that of course he was able to operate on, ultimately saving the young life.
Derek, let Meredith back in. The other surgeons obviously won’t. (Consider Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) reaction to Meredith interfering with her mouse trial.) And she doesn’t want to be delivering babies all day! Plus, pink is not a good color for scrubs!
As for the rest of Seattle Grace Mercy West, Owen and Cristina (Sandra Oh) had a lot of sex, but were unable to talk about their issues, one of which rhymes with smushmortion. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) weren’t having any sex, because Mark (Eric Dane) and Arizona became Food Network besties.
In a silly and annoying storyline, April (Sarah Drew) learned to deepen her voice so the rest of the residents would listen to her.
Otherwise, the residents were worried about bad outcomes in their surgeries, leading both Cristina and Alex (Justin Chambers) to become tentative in the operating room, or in Alex’s case, before even reaching the OR.
Unfortunately, we barely saw Jackson (Jesse Williams), which is always unfortunate, because he’s super hot.
What did you think of this episode of Grey’s, HollywoodLifers?

I wish there would be a lot of serial surprises this last season upcoming..one of them is wanna see mer meets new guy instead of derek..it’s just so long track of on and off relationship…so are owen and christina..I’d prefer burke christina old one..it was just funnier, unique couple they were..the rest of them wouldn’t be too much differences for the story..cannot wait for this season 8!!

I agree Derek needs to wake up and smell the roses. Meredith is his right arm when it comes to surgery and he needs her. I am surprised no one has told him that. I want him to admit that to her. It was the trial that she screwed up with her good deed not surgery. And he has pretty much scared off or refused most of the other residents. New residents will not solve his problem he’d have to train them too. Bottom line is for patients and operating efficiency he needs her now. Overall a better ep than last week. Loved Mark in this ep especially his scones scene with the guys. Interesting that everyone needed Mer in this episode even if they didn’t all admit it. Who shone tonight – Meredith – she helped save a womans life, birth a baby, solve a medical mystery for mice trial for April/Chief and Bailey, help Lexie with Derek. Chief (not Owen) was fun in this one. I think Owens speech scared the residents as both Christina and Alex situations in surgery were not who they were.
