SJP tells HollyBaby.com exclusively why she won’t be going with her three kids to get candy this year — and who will be taking them!

Sarah Jessica Parker is one busy lady. While the mother of three — son James, 8, and twin 2-year-old daughters Marion and Tabitha — would love to be spending Halloween with her kids, she tells HollyBaby.com exclusively that she won’t be going trick-or-treating with them this year!

“I won’t be able to this year because I have to work out of the country,” Sarah told us at the New York City Center Reopening in NYC on Oct. 25.

But her hubby Matthew Broderick will be in charge for candy duty that night. “Yes I will [take them]” he said to us.

And the kids have some exciting costume ideas of what they want to be. “Maybe Mini Mouse, maybe a lamb, maybe a flower — a character named Finn…” Sarah gushed.

Sarah herself has dressed up in some interesting costumes herself over the past few years — including a dog! “I played a dog here at this theater for a long run,” Sarah laughed. “I played a dog, that’s a stretch for me. Some would disagree, but go ahead. Have your cracks.”
