Kim Kardashian‘s marriage to Kris Humphries is over!
TMZ is reporting that Kim is filing today, Oct. 31, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The biggest reason for the split? TMZ also reports that Kris, 26, was hoping that Kim, 31, would come with him to Minnesota after the craziness from their wedding died down — although that was NEVER something Kim envisioned. Apparently they planned to discuss this issue after their wedding day, but perhaps they should have prepared better!
Because of that issue, they came to the realization that the union needed to end, making for a relatively amicable divorce.
Superstar lawyer Laura Wasser is handling the split — good thing Kim had a prenup with Kris!
Ryan Seacrest, who produces Kim’s reality shows, tweeted about the divorce on Oct. 31, writing, “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.”
This divorce is the end of a super-tumultuous marriage. Just this weekend, Kim had two big solo appearances in New York City, where she looked sad and annoyed. We reported EXCLUSIVELY that although she looked great, she seemed depressed at her huge Oct. 29 Lavo Nightclub bash.
It’s also telling that Kris has been holed up in Minnesota while she’s been out and about in NYC.
In recent weeks, the couple has been said to be increasingly distant and icy to each other in public, on recent dates spending more time on their phones than interacting with each other. They were even spotted fighting on video on a recent public date — things weren’t going well for sure!
Kim released an official statement to E! News: ”After careful consideration I have decided to end my marriage,” she says. “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

Well, from what i want to say is that. I am not going to judge kim or kris cause i feel like that’s there business. I also feel like people get divorces all the time in our world. I support kim. I wish people would just stop being negative toward her. im not just saying that because i like her no homo im saying that because shes human like me and you. So, that’s all for now. Kim i hope you be ok. Kris too cause no one should have to go through divores. thats all for now

i respect your optimism dear but you are blind. She planner the divorce before she was even married. If you love someone do you think you would divorce them over something so small???? and then make a whollleeeeee season for a show out of her marriage?? wake up and smell the coffee girl cuz she was not in love and neither was he.

Wow! i kind of knew it wouldnt last forever. All that money they wasted for nothing they could of made a difference in a persond life but no they decide to waste their money on a 72 day long marriage. I hate them so much because they are so greedy. You dont have to help everyone just make a big difference in someones life. Buy on person a home not just the furniture like in ur episode. You have 10 million dollars for a wedding which last 72 days and you cant waste 100 thousand or less on a home that will be in the persons heart forever. Greedy a** people they always be acting like they the best. Quit being so selfish seriously u shouldnt even be famous.

First of all, if stupid people didn’t watch her, then this wouldn’t be a big deal. It isn’t actually. She has no reason to be famous. If society wasn’t unintelligent and watched shows that had substance in them, this wouldn’t be the ‘talk of the year.’ 72 days? In place of forever? Please. People like her ruin the sanctity of marriage. That 18 million she spent on her wedding should go to the poor or something because I’m pretty damn sure 99.98% of us won’t make that in a lifetime while she spent it in a few hours, for 72 days, not even being famous. Get over it and stop being stupid.

I honestly think Kim and Kris were terrible together .
Kim doesn’t seem like the relationship type and should just stay single and focus on her career . She has a big business life anyways .I think the whole wedding was a waste of money and she should have just waited .
