Dorothy died surrounded by friends and family this morning. How sad!
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton‘s mother Dorothy Rodham, 92, passed away just after midnight on Nov. 1 “after an illness,” according to USA Today.
“She overcame abandonment and hardship as a young girl to become the remarkable woman she was,” the Clinton family said in a statement. “A warm, generous and strong woman; an intellectual; a woman who told a great joke and always got the joke; an extraordinary friend and, most of all, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.”
Dorothy was surrounded by family and friends when she died this morning. The family will be holding a private funeral.

RIP mama rodham. condolences to hilary and her family. they were lucky to have her for such a long time.
