Kelly Osbourne is an idiot if she thinks we actually believe Miley Cyrus’ stoner comments were a joke

Miley Cyrus threw us all for a loop during her nineteenth birthday last weekend when she took one look at her Bob Marley cake and announced on-camera, “You know you’re a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f—ing weed!” Almost immediately after the confession spread like wild fire on the Internet, Miley’s buddy, Kelly Osbourne leaped to her defense and tried to sweep the incident under the rug. Do they think we’re idiots?

Kelly was quick to address the controversy on her Twitter by saying, “let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE! the cake was also A JOKE! it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called ‘friends’ would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not! u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think.”

Well, Kelly, you say it’s impossible to record, film and tour while on drugs, but look at your own dad, Ozzy Osbourne. He was a legend in Rock & Roll, who did a pretty good job on his own in his drugged-filled trek into rock immortality. Your father Ozzy battled with a lot of heavier drugs over the years than just salvia and marijuana, so I think Miley definitely has a shot at being productive and smoking weed.

Kelly, there’s just no way it was all a joke and even if it was, why would you joke about Miley’s drug habit in a public setting with cameras? You’ve both been around the block before — you know how things are done in Hollywood. Nothing is private. If Miley is, in fact, a pothead, it’s her own business. However, she’s one of the most famous people in the world. Keep all of that behind closed doors if you don’t want everyone talking about it!
