During Barbara’s 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011 special, the legendary journalist took Kris Jenner and her three eldest daugters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, to task about why they’re famous!
The Kardashians landed at number eight on Barbara Walters‘ annual list, but you don’t get a place on the roster without having to answer at least a few tough questions!
“You don’t act, you don’t sing, you don’t dance. You don’t have any, forgive me, any talent,” Barbara remarked.
“But we’re still entertaining people,” responded Khloe Kardashian.
“It’s more of a challenge to go on a reality show and get people to fall in love with you for being you, so there is definitely a lot more pressure, I think, to be famous for being ourselves, than to play a character,” Kim Kardashian explained further.
“But I don’t think we disagree,” Kourtney Kardashian continued.
“Like, none of us think we have talents. None of us think we can sing or act or dance,” Khloe added.
We think the Kardashians held their own during the interview, but we have to go with Barbara on this one! They’re famous for being famous!

I believe Kim has a talent 4 ctying on cue if the last episodes of them taking New York. Kourtney has a talent of being a b***h, and Khloe has a talent of keeping it real.of a Rob can dance.

Barbara Walters is a renouned journalist. She went to college, her credibility level is astounding. She’s knowledgeable in a wide variety of topics, politics, Middle Eastern relations, economic issues…etc. I bet any one of those Kardashians cannot even tell you what our Bill of Rights is. Barbara is a smart lady. She’s a talented and great journalist who’s still ambitious and investigative. I’d be surprised if a Kardashian could spell their name.

So then why did she pick them for most fascinating? She caved to pressure because of negative opinion and is now trying to backtrack.
Kim obviously has the star factor since even people who don’t like her spend all their time talking about her.

i wonder if kim or anyone in her family realizes how absolutely f’ed up it is that they chose a profession whose sole aim is to try to get the public to fall in love with them. not someone who loves music and wants to share that poetry with the world… not someone who loves telling stories and likes to share that acting with the world… just a bunch of women who feel so bad about themselves they need to try to get the world to love them. it’s sad and twisted, and i would feel awful if i raised a child with such low self esteem that the goal they chose for themselves was to try to get the world to love them when they don’t even love themselves clearly. so. twisted. and depraved.

When Walters announced on The View, she selected the Kardashians as one of the “Most Fascinating for 2011” the audience started to boo; Whoopi rolled her eyes and Joy started asking tough questions about the choice. I think Walters realized she made a mistake and quickly turned things to her advantage with a tough interview hoping to redeem herself which I believe she did. Kris Jenner, on her best day isn’t any match for Walters and it showed! Look at their faces – LOVE IT!!

The Kardashians are just as talented, even more so, based on the fact they have done an outstanding job marketing their family for big $ than any of the other 2 bit reality shows out there.

jess, they are selling themselves for money. there is no other way to explain what they are doing. it ain’t sex (unless you count kim’s sex tape and playboy spreads and fake marriage), but frankly, some whores have a whole lot more decency and morals than this family. whores keep it at sex. this family has no bounds. they sell EVERYTHING. so who should be judge more? the whore that thinks that is the only way to support her family or herself? that thinks her only value is her sex and doesn’t know what else to do? or a kardashian who has plenty of money and plenty of opportunities, but greedily sells out for every thing that will get them one more dollar in their own pocket? my point: sometimes harsh words are appropriate, not just “grade school.”
