When Selena was asked if she was going to spend New Year’s Eve — one of the most romantic nights of the year — with her BF Justin, we were a little surprised by her reply. Read on to hear what she said.
Selena Gomez, 19, confessed that she won’t be welcoming 2012 with her boyfriend Justin Bieber, 17. We’re shocked since they’re pretty much inseparable when they’re not working!
“I’m spending it with my band we’re going to be performing in Times Square for MTV, I’m excited,” Selena said on Dec. 15 at the Wizards of Waverly Place press event. “We’re going to be there, doing a performance, flying out my grandparents, my cousin, just spend it there.”
Sounds like fun, but won’t Selena miss her boyfriend? Good thing he’ll be performing at the MTV Times Square bash, too! We’re sure they’ll meet up at some point, and hopefully it will be right before the stroke of midnight…

Justin isn’t performing at the MTV Times Square bash. He is performing at the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve for ABC. Another event, another location.
