Do you think Taylor Swift and Amanda Seyfried would be good as Eponine and Cosette, respectively?
After running for more than 25 years on Broadway, Andrew Lloyd Webber‘s musical Les Miserable is being remade as a Hollywood film, starring Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe. And a new report from BroadwayWorld claims, blonde starlets Taylor Swift and Amanda Seyfried have now been offered the female roles Eponine and Cosette.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed if Taylor and Amanda are actually going to take the roles, we’d love to see them light up the big screen. That said, it was widely reported Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood also wanted the role of Eponine. Other confirmed cast members include Sacha Baron Cohen as Thernardier, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, Aaron Tveit as Enjolras, Anne Hathaway as Fantine and Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thenardier.
Regardless of who gets chosen for the roles, they’ll have to make their decisions soon, as rehearsals begin the end of January.
Who is YOUR dream cast? Sound off below.

the worst casting ever, taylor swift has a flat voice but they can autotune it, the HUGE problem is that she can’t act to save her life.

As a french girl I am disapointed really disapointed that they choose to put Taylor Swift and that weird actress in the cast. No need to mention that the movie will suck and flop.
Swift can’t sing and act at all it’s a shame for the director who choose her instead of Lea michele. He based his choice on popularity( today popularity comes before talent) so target Swift’s fans to come and see the movie even if Swift will only play a little part in it, and not on talent Lea Michele has more and more than swifty. Again shame on the director.
I wanted to see this movie so bad no I’ll never pay to see swift ruin it.

The book by Victor Hugo, as well as the stage and film adaptations, are titled “Les Misérables,” not “Les Miserable”. This whole “article” is an editorial embarrassment. Do enough research and fact checking to get the title correct at least.

I think if these two ladies do the movie remake, Seyfried should be Eponine and Swift should be Cosette in my opinion. Seyfried has a much more mature look that would be good for the role of Eponine. Swift has a very youthful look that would be really good for the role of Cosette.

Wow can the idiot who wrote this article maybe do a tad bit of research first? Yes, it’s an operatic musical in a similar style to Phantom of the Opera… But does every blockbuster musical have to be done by Andrew Lloyd Webber?? I’m sure the real creators of Les Mis would appreciate some credit. Lloyd Webber had NOTHING to do with this musIcal.

Whoever thinks Taylor Swift can actually deliver a good performance of Eponine is crazy. Her acting in Valentine’s Day was horrible. Her voice wouldn’t fit the songs that Eponine sings in Les Miserable. I personally think someone like Lea Michele should play Eponine.
