Elin Nordegren wasn’t happy with her Florida mansion — so she had it knocked down!
According to The Palm Beach Post, Tiger Woods‘ ex-wife purchased the home in March of 2010 for $12.3 Million, and had it razed to make way for her dream home.
Elin and her children are living near by while their new place is being built.

Did that home qualify as a historical structure? I doubt it because the county planners would’ve stopped it. From our perspective, it was a waste; but, from Elin’s, she wasn’t happy with it or just bought the home for its location and intended to rebuild anew.

She should be ashamed. She is engaged to a billionaire I hear so buy exactly what you want and leave historic properties alone. Watch it be some gaudy new money nightmare that replaces it.
She should have bought the adjacent land and built on it and left this lovely home as a guest house for family when they visit. On other days it could have been a corporate retreat that she could rent for such use. Or the headquarters of a foundation of hers.
Nuts and I understand why Tiger did what he did.

WHY DIDN’T SHE JUST BUY A PIECE OF LAND INSTEAD… COULD HAVE JUST DONATED THAT HOUSE TO CHILDREN WHO NEEDS A HOME.
