The superstar couple admits that while their marriage has plenty of romance, they far prefer life in the bedroom!

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed are not afraid to talk about sex, and in a new interview they say that their physical relationship keeps their new marriage alive!

Gene, 62, and Shannon, 54, have been together for 28 years, but waited to get married until Oct. 2011. In an interview with Hollyscoop, Gene says they like to be raunchy in order to keep the flame burning bright!

“Romance is interesting,” he said. “But somebody much more prolific than I am put it better — she should be a Madonna in the kitchen and a wh–e in the bedroom.”

Even though Gene may have been a bit crass, Shannon admits that she agrees with the sentiment.

“[You have to] keep having sex in different ways,” she said. “Try to think of something new. Thank god the children are grown up. As soon as they hear noise from upstairs, they leave the house. That’s good.”
