Katy is still shocked that Russell Brand filed for divorce because she really thought he’d wait until after they got back from spending the holidays apart to talk things out, says a source — isn’t that just so sad?
Katy Perry was truly blindsided. A source close to Katy tells HollywoodLife.com that Katy and Russell Brand only mentioned the word divorce a few times but there were never “serious discussions” about actually divorcing!
“Katy and Russell were having normal couple problems,” a source tells us. “There was no talk of divorce around Thanksgiving. It all happened right before Christmas but no one, not even Katy saw the divorce coming.”
But our source reiterates that even though Katy is “devastated” — there’s “zero chance” Russell and Katy will get back together. We told you that Katy reportedly asked Russell to move out of their LA mansion.

Just leave her alone okay it was a divorce and it sucks but you can’t read into these things to much it just will make it worse your instigating a fight between the two of them you guys sicken me

Serves her right! Can’t ignore the hubby. Now she’s upset at him cause he filed first. Guess we know who owned the house! Can we just say that Russell Brand has been deported from the Perry Thighs Kingdom. There’s no vacancy sign hanging from her charms; the Lord has closed the Gates to Heaven for Russell Brand.
