Rachel Crow caught up with HollywoodLife.com on the People’s Choice Awards red carpet about where her career is headed, how often she talks to Simon Cowell and why she’s so thankful she was eliminated from ‘The X Factor’

When Rachel Crow was shockingly eliminated from The X Factor, it seemed like the world was ending. The 13-year-old powerhouse singer fell to the floor in a fit of tears and was inconsolable. However, now more than a month later, Rachel says getting the boot from the hit reality series was the best thing that could have happened to her.

“The best moment was when I got eliminated because it opened so many doors for me,” she told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles Jan. 11. “And it helped me go as far as I could.”

As for her potential budding Disney career, Rachel wasn’t allowed to say much. However, she did dish about her dream next move, which includes singing in “a TV show or movie.”
