Watch what happens when an Australian interviewer asks exes Vanessa & Josh: ‘How long have you two been going out?’
We already loved Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson, but we have so much more respect for them after watching this new interview. While promoting their new movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – that’s the movie they met, and dated, while filming — an Australian interviewer asked them, point blank, how long they’ve been going out.
“We’re not,” Josh said, after some uncomfortable silence. “We were at one point, but she broke my heart. No, I’m just kidding. That was a while ago. We’re really good friends now.”
“We’re really good friends,” Vanessa echoed, giving Josh a friendly pat on the cheek.
Yikes! Someone didn’t do his homework. Josh and Vanessa did date for several months during and after the filming of Journey 2, but they broke up in July 2011. She’s, of course, now happily dating fellow Disney star Austin Butler.

LOL!!! Did you see how they were laughing, and then the interviewer goes, “How long have you been dating?”
and their smiles just like, disappeared. looooolllzzz, awkward!

It was awkward, but they had it coming. I’m glad they can be mature about it, but when they did date they knew they’d eventually have to promote together. So… too bad?
